Oregon was tough this year...they took us behind the wood shed. Well deserved Pac 10 title for the Ducks!

Despite my loss to you early this year? Too bad we don't get a rematch in the Rose Bowl.

Looks like we will be advancing tonight. I will be getting my game in when I get home from work around 9/10pm PST. The Magic Bowl is set for 10pm PST. So, if you have a CPU game, I suggest you get it done today/tonight or its getting simmed.

After a game like this, one question begs to be asked.....did coach wazzu's players quit on him? Following his shocking announcement that he is leaving after this season to return home to Washington State, coach wazzu's final season in Corvallis has turned into a nightmare. And his final appearance in this rivalry is not the happy ending he was looking for. After trading blows in the first quarter tied 7-7, the Ducks unleashed an offensive onslaught not seen in Eugene in sometime. The Ducks attacked on the ground, thru the air and thru play action. The Ducks were able to score 28 points in this quarter, all on the mighty right arm of QB Bryan Bennett. Bennett had perhaps his finest performance as a Duck, finishing 14/18 for 320 yards and 4 tds. Bennett's favorite target was WR Kevin Walters, who shredded the depleted Beaver secondary for 6 catches and 196 yards, including a 62 yard touchdown catch to end the first half. Looking to get into field goal range, Walters broke free along the left sideline, made the catch and got a block downfield, racing for the td and all but shutting the door on coach wazzu's Oregon State days.

Wazzu, this was game was clearly decided by the gigantic talent difference of our 2 teams. Good game and good luck against Ohio State.

Here is my take, I couldn't get my offense going at the start of the game. My defense was just a step slow throughout the game. I think what we saw was the advantage of having Oregon for two seasons before I took over OSU. Your receivers were just too fast for my defensive backs. In addition that fucking TD pass was ridiculous. Here I am in cover 3, and there is no person fucking around him. That should never have fucking happened. The score could have been closer, but I couldn't close the deal on a couple of drives. As for my team quitting, this may have been the first time in the history video game dynasty of a team quitting on their coach. I really have no answer for what has transpired since that announcement. As for me taking over the Cougs, negotiations have broken down and I may be returning to Corvallis. As to why, I REALLY WANT TO BEAT USC! What has transpired in the past two seasons has left me unnerved.

That game sounds familiar...before I knew it against Oregon I was down 31-0 I think. To big a hole to dig out of for either of us I guess. Dakota has a great team too. Im looking forward to his QB graduating and seeing how his team looks next season compared to the rest of us!

I felt a little bit bad about that touchdown at the end of the half. I was 50/50 on taking a knee or trying to get into field goal range. I figured I needed about 25 yards to give it a shot and with 3 timeouts I thought "what the hell". When I saw you were in zone, I audibled the slot guy to a streak, hoping to force your safety to leave either the streak or the fade open. It worked pretty well. I hope you didn't feel like I was running it up, but after recchem came back on me 2 seasons ago (I was up by 17 or something at the start of the 4th quarter and lost) I'm a little less comfortable about going into vanilla mode too soon. Anyway, good game.

I didn't think you were running it up, I am just upset the guy was so fucking open. I would have preferred you gone to chew clock sooner in the fourth quarter. I needed to get in another game that evening.

UGH! I can't play tonight. Got the Cougs NIT game @ 4, then workout @6:30...then I totally forgot bowling with friends until like 1 pm. And tomorrow's no good for Cheez till late! This is no good. If we can have extension to Tomorrow night that would be nice. However if not....text me and I will set my teams aggressiveness up for AP tonight, since Cheez is free.

Best defensive game of the year for the Hawkeyes as we pumpelled LSU. QB Huff and WR Shumpert did what they normally do lol. Final score 42 - 13
