Florida knocks off Big 10 champion Michigan to finish regular season at 11-1. The Gators defense was all over the Wolverines, holding the rodents to just 157 yards offense. The run defense was key for Florida as Michigan finished with -5 yards on the ground. The Michigan run game was hurt by loss of starting HB Kevin Smith. An intercepted option pitch also got Florida's defense some points. On the offensive side it was McCloud's arm and a very efficient Florida offense. McCloud threw just 11 times but 3 went for TD. The run game also rattled off 200 yards for Florida, led by Snyder with 75.

Next up for Florida is the annual conference championship against Alabama. Coach Bravejaf is looking to claim his 5th conference title in his 6th season at Florida.

    Miami Upends Crimson Tide

The game started off REAL bad for the Canes when HB Harvey Slaughter fumbled the ball on the opening kickoff. The fumble was picked up by Alabama and returned for a TD to put the Tide up 7-0. Miami didn't panic. Although the Bama defense played well versus the run, QB Paul Felder was able to find holes in the opposing secondary in route to a big day. On defense, Miami gave up plenty of yards but made big plays when it counted. Miami scored 21 points in the final 1:32 of the first half thanks to two Alabama interceptions. That put the Canes up 18 at half and although Alabama mounted a late comeback in the fourth, it was not enough to come out on top. GG Perry - we gotta take this to Alabama next time.

    QB Paul Felder - 16/20 - 310 Yards - 3/1
    HB Isaac Henderson - 19 Attempts - 95 Yards - 2 TDs
    WR Ricky Duncan - 4 Receptions - 62 Yards - 1 TD
    WR Travis Graham - 4 Receptions - 122 Yards - 1 TD
    TE Todd Johnson - 3 Receptions - 64 Yards - 1 TD
CB Cory Craft - 76 Yard Interception Return for TD
SS John McCutcheon - 1 Interception
CB Lukas Green - 1 Interception
