Shortly after the conclusion of the 2014 regular season, many owners in the NFL have decided to make a change in head coach in an attempt to turn their franchises around. Listed below are the teams that have already hired new head coaches for the 2015 season:

Butcher Black will be taking over in Philadelphia, after the team struggled to a 3-13 record this past season. The Eagles have a young offense, lead by rookie QB Jared Myers who took home Offensive Rookie of the Year honors as he threw for more than 4,000 yards in his rookie campaign. Their defense is getting old, and the new head coach will surely be looking to add some youth to that side of the ball in his first off-season with the team.

GeneralCarter has been hired to take over an underachieving Seahawks team, which many believed to be the #1 coaching job available this off-season. This team is extremely talented on defense, and on offense has the personnel to pound the rock behind running backs Michael Turner & Marshawn Lynch. QB Russell Wilson hasn't progressed as ownership hoped, and was actually benched last season in favor of rookie QB Wes Crane. It will be interesting to see which QB Coach Carter decides to roll with in 2015.

Capt Crunch takes over a New Orleans Saints team still recovering from the sudden retirement of QB Drew Brees. The team made a late playoff push in 2014, but fell short. Rookie QB Patrick Ledbetter showed signs of greatness, but may still need another year or two to develop.

Jay Shorter (jay2149) is the new man in Baltimore. This was a highly coveted head coaching vacancy this off-season, and I'm sure Coach Shorter is excited about the offense he has inherited. QB Joe Flacco, HB Ray Rice to go along with the speed of WR Torrey Smith and arguably the best young TE in the game - Byron Steele. The defense, once the strength of this team, definitely has some holes for the new coaching staff to fill. Rumors are already swirling that, at 38 yrs of age, Ed Reed may finally be retiring this off-season.

straw0125 has been hired to take over in Houston. Coach Avery inherits the #1 pick of the 2015 NFL Draft after the Texans finished the season with a 2-14 record. Ownership has been looking for a replacement at the QB position for a couple of years now, and many believe that's where the new coach will go with the first pick in the draft. Arian Foster is in the prime of his career, but at 34 years of age WR Andre Johnson may demand a trade if they don't find a replacement for Schaub at QB (finished with a 52.3 QB Rating - 15/32 TD/INT ratio).

BigTyme21 will be taking over a Tampa Bay team that finished the season 3-13, including a 5-game losing streak to end the year. They lost QB Josh Freeman to the Browns in free agency the year before, and are really lacking in weapons on the offensive side of the ball. This team needs some work, but Coach Jackson seems up to the challenge.

More head coaching changes are expected as we move through the playoffs and into the off-season...

The Jacksonville Jaguars held a press conference today, announcing that they had finally filled their head coaching vacancy with the hiring of oneshot24. This team definitely needs some work, as the last regime traded away their star running back and left the franchise in cap hell which ultimately lead to a 3-13 record in 2014. This is truly a rebuilding project, but Coach Varno is already talking playoffs. The team has some talent on the defensive side of the ball, especially at the LB position. However, I'm not quite sure at this point where the team's offensive scoring will come from - QB Blaine Gabbert? HB Dwayne Merrill? Definitely some work to be done in the next couple of days/weeks...

According to league sources, Papa Perry will be taking over as head coach of America's Team. After a 4-12 season, Jerry Jones decided to move in a different direction, hiring the team's 4th coach in the last 3 seasons. Romo was traded when QB Daniel Romeo was drafted in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Romeo has struggled in his first two seasons, despite plenty of weapons behind him (meanwhile, Romo has taken the Vikings to back-to-back NFC Championship games). The defense needs some work, especially up front. Can Coach Perry bring the "glory hole" days back to Big D?

Just days before the 2015 NFL Draft, the San Diego "Super Chargers" are rumored to have finally filled their head coaching vacancy. GDip has been made an offer to become the new coach in California. The primary question he'll be asked to answer - at 33, is the Rivers era finally over? With all those weapons (Jeremy Maclin, Aaron Hernandez, Eddie Royal), Charger fans have become impatient with Rivers' inability to win, or even reach a Championship.
