Tennessee came into the 2016 TMFL Draft focused on improving at the point of attack both on offense and defense. The ownership group was very pleased with the rookie class with 3 impact players bringing strength and athleticism to the trenches.

    Draft Grade A

    Washington Redskins Draft grade: B+

The first three rounds of the draft turned out some great players for the Skins.

    Round 1 Pick 1: QB Duncan Hamilton 98 THP 85 SAC 87 MAC 71 DAC 82 RUN 65 SPD 73 ACC
Hamilton looks to be the starter for the foreseeable future. Though his SPD and slow development leave things to be desired.

    Round 2 Pick 2: CB Antonio Fisher 87 MCV 84 ZCV 85 PRS 68 PRC 77 PUR 88 SPD 93 ACC 75 STR
A strong physical corner, he will start opposite Chris Culliver as the Skins #2 CB. But once again his SPD is a concern.

    Round 3 Pick 1: LE Chris Casas 87 STR 84 TAK 82 POW 75 PMV 60 FMV 89 BSH 76 PUR 61 PRC 72 SPD 79 ACC
The plan wasn't to go for an DE here, but it worked out well. He will challenge for the starting position and with superstar development it won't be long before he has it.

    Round 4 pick 1: FS Erick Manning 71 MCV 70 ZCV 43 PRC 75 PUR 72 TAK 87 POW 83 SPD 88 ACC
The safety position is the Redskins worst group right now and they were hoping to get lucky here. They didn't. Manning will be backing up Trenton Robinson on opening weekend.

    Round 5 Pick 1: RE Zach Chapman 73 PMV 58 FMV 82 BSH 70 PUR 62 PRC 81 TAK 82 POW 77 SPD 87 STR 76 ACC
He will be 3rd string. He has some decent base stats though and could see the field more in upcoming seasons.

    Round 6 Pick 7: DT Joey Houston 87 STR 85 PMV 55 FMV 69 BSH 78 PUR 41 PRC 72 TAK 64 POW 75 SPD 85 ACC
Houston will be backing up Paea. He's another guy with some decent base stats that might get a chance later on.

    Round 6 pick 19: RG Jeremiah Russel 75 RBK 84 PBK 72 IBL 61 SPD 79 ACC
With the trade for Ronald Leary and 2nd year player Scherff, Russel will have a hard time seeing action. This pick is one the Skins would like to have back.

    Round 7 Pick 1: ROLB Mark Easton 66 TAK 80 POW 80 SPD 76 STR 80 ACC 67 PMV 62 FMV 65 BSH 70 PUR 59 PRC 66 MCV 63 ZCV
    CUT

    Round 7 Pick 5: WR Chance Hickman 82 CTH 83 CIT 73 SPC 61 RTE 65 RLS 91 JMP 92 SPD 83 ACC
For a 7th rounder he's not bad. He might make the roster as the 6th or maybe 7th WR.

Indianapolis Colts had a rough season, and looked to the Draft for some positive momentum. Overall the draft worked well for the Colts. With holes nearly everywhere except QB and CB#1, the Colts had the opportunity to draft best players available. After a successful Free Agent period, The priorities were HB, CB, S.

First Round: Cornerback Sam Norwood fits the first round pick criteria; he shows superstar potential, fast, and decent cover skills. Colts wanted to fill HB first, but when their #1 CB was still on the board, they gambled on Defense. A+

Second: Desperate for a franchise back, after having a different starter every year, the Colts got their #2 ranked HB, Jordan Bell. Bell appears to be the highest ranked rookie in the league, at 83 OVR. Exactly what the Colts needed. Expect him to have 25+ carries a game. A

Third: With a name like Cordaveous Griffin, you expect to stand out. This Griffin (who was drafted as a SS, but will be playing FS) stands out in many ways. His superstar development is desperately needed in the Colts aging saftey corps. A+

Fourth: Linval Hairston was supposed to be the starting saftey next to Griffin, but his skills need polish before he can be a starter. C

Fifth: Rashard Phillip is strong, wide DT, and will do a good job eating up blockers in the 3-4 in upcoming years. B

Sixth: Indy goes big again, with Big Ben Redmon LG has impressive stamina for his size. A great back up/future starter. B

Seventh: Indy likes to occupy space, and not many people occupies more space than Gordon "Gravity" Ray at RT. at 6'6'' and 330lbs and 94 STR, he should be another good addition to the Colts future Luck protectors. B

    Players sorted by OVR:

I got really lucky. If I were any more talented than a waterlogged wombat with the sticks, I might be good at this. :)

    PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

    Draft Grade : B

The Eagles were still able to secure some talent in the 2016 draft. With the 32nd pick the took LG Grant Russell who graded out as the top guard in the draft.

The Eagle's 2nd Round pick was traded in 2014 by Chip Kelly for QB Sam Bradford who earned a Super Bowl ring watching from the sideline as Mark Sanchez lead the team to victory over the Oakland Raiders 21-20

3rd Round : The Eagles took the kick return specialist TAYLOR GRAVES. With Darren Sproles being released this was a dynamic the team needed to address. Taylor's 98 SPD will pose as a problem if and when he sees the field.

3rd Round : The Eagles had two 3rd round selections, this pick was sent to the NYJ in return for starting QB - GENO SMITH.

4th Round : The Eagles went back and addressed the offensive line taking LT JUSTIN PEREZ. Perez graded out as the #4 ranked LT in the rookie class. So to get him this late was a steal for PHI.

5th Round : KHIRY BARR LE was selected and has made the final 53. Barr may see some action but is a developmental project behind a few seasoned vets.

6th Round : SHAQUILLE DORSEY LOLB also made the teams final 53. Which is rare for the Eagles as they tend to not keep young development projects around. Dorsey has a nice skill set though and will see time on special teams.

    Summary : 2016
PHI Selected a long term solution at the GUARD position with 82 OVR Grant Russell.
PHI received it's file QB in Geno Smith who will receive extended work 1-1 with the Chipper.
PHI selected FU's track star and Olympian Taylor Graves to return kicks and see limited time taking tops off.
