2015 will be somewhat of a rebuilding year for Indiana. With 28 seniors graduating last year and a total of just 8 juniors and seniors this year, the Hoosiers are a very young team with only 5 returning starters - 4 on offense, 1 on defense. The most recent recruiting class was a great one (ranked 5th in the nation), with 4 ESPNU 150 recruits and a few others just outside the top 150. Quite a few of those guys will make starting positions this year.

Offense: The offense is led by QB Nate Sudfield, who started 4 games last year when Tre Roberson was injured. He also made appearances in 4 other games. Some returning playmakers are HB Jesse Palmer and WRs Ricky Jones and Ryan Cox, who all either started or saw substantial playing time in 2014. The offensive line replaced all 5 starters and will be starting 3 freshmen, so there will likely be some growing pains there.

Defense: Nearly the entire defense is going to be replaced, and the biggest hole to fill was left by 3-time All-American MLB Chase Hoobler. Sticking with the 4-3, true freshman Thomas Clay will be playing in that spot. A total of 6 freshmen are currently slotted to start on the defense, so it will be difficult to duplicate the success that Indiana has had on defense, ranking in the top 5 each of the past three seasons.

One player that will also be sorely missed is do-it-all WR Shane Wynn. Over the past three years, Wynn scored a total of 25 touchdowns. He caught 17 touchdown passes, rushed for 2, and also scored on 5 kickoffs and 1 punt.

The main goal for Indiana this year is to get to a fourth consecutive bowl game, which is something that has never been done before in school history.

Nice man. I see a lot of "freshman" mentioned...

Lol, freshman/men. My bad. Yeah, Indiana's mostly freshmen and sophomores this year. Should be an interesting year with how much the Big Ten has improved.
