    2014 BIG TEN CHAMPIONS
    2014 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

OFFENSE: The Spartans come into 2015 as the NATIONAL CHAMPIONS. They were able to handle a surprising Nevada team that was no slouch indeed. Stud QB Connor Cook returns under center for the Spartans as the all-time school leader in passing yards. With an a lack of experience at RB this year the Spartans will again rely on their upper-classmen WR trio of Ceaser, Burbridge and Sims Jr. With a solid front line look for the Spartans as favored to win the B1G again and make a trip to the NCG.

DEFENSE: Shilique Calhoun returns for his senior season. After being in contention for almost every defensive award last year look for this end to make B1G quarterbacks pay this year. With solid 85+ talent starting at all defensive positions look for the Spartans to crush teams this year while stuffing opponents hopes and dreams.

Recruiting: Teams Needs: FB, CB. Scholarships-16 [13 Seniors, +2 cushion, +1 (69 roster size)]

8 new recruits signed though week 11 with an average rating of 77. After what is turning out to be a lack-luster year with several CPU sim losses. MSU is reloading for years to come.

    ***** UPDATE *****

Michigan State receives an instant commit by 0% scouted athlete Donte Gandy who was just added to the recruiting board last week and offered a scholarship. The boy basically said yes as soon as Coach Dan'tonio picked up the phone to call the west coast kid. We will have to wait and see where he ends up ratings-wise.

That's because he couldn't walk on to Arkansas we had two cheerleaders ahead of him. I think the dude was born with a club foot. My staff had him pegged as the top cover kicker in this years class.

No clue. Like i said, I haven't scouted him at all so it's wide open right now. I have MSU's first deep class coming in since I took over so things will be changing somewhat.

I still can't get over the 6 dropped passes against Arkansas  Yet somehow my WR are tops in the country

MSU welcomes 6'7 athlete from Ohio - Kevin Nixon to the Spartan Nation family. At only 60% scouted he could turn out to be an impossible cover for defenses should coach choose to use him at WR in the future.
