We had a discussion on changing recruiting to the +3 system in NCAA 12. We will be using our final season, where recruiting really doesn't mean anything, to become acclimated to this system. Any questions about this system, put them in here.

Are we allowed to have more scholarships out then we have available? For example, if I have 15 scholarships left and I have scholarships out to 18 players because I know not all of them will sign, is this allowed?

I believe it is allowed because you are basically setting yourself up incase someone commits to another school. As soon as you sign your max number of recruits though you have to remove everyone from your recruiting board. It can become dicey though if you only have one spot left and you have more than one vying for the spot.

It's allowed, but if you screw up and sign extras, you're getting hit with sanctions.

No sanctions for this season, though. Just a trial run.
