    WSU 43

WSU used a strong offensive performance to take down the Bruins. Cougar QB Jimmy Laughrea threw three touchdowns, while HB Jay Ajayi rushed for over 100 yards and scored two touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball, the Cougars played just as well causing five turnovers, four of which were interceptions. One of the interceptions was a pick six Jacques Holt, that gave the Cougars a 15-8 lead late in the first quarter.
