shame FSU could not beat V-Tech in the conference title game. I almost wormed my way back up the BCS.

Looks like zero user v user games this bowl season.

Wisconsin easily handles a BCS buster team in Troy. The Trojans fought hard, but the lack of team speed was evident. WR Ward had 268 yards, with 185 coming after the catch and 4 TDs. The Badgers have won every BCS game now except for the Sugar.

    #7 Wisconsin 52 - #6 Troy 21

Illinois Cruises To Gator Bowl Victory
    Illini: 7 21 7 10 45
    Florida: 3 0 0 7 10

It couldn't have started out worse for the Illini. After winning the toss, the Gators elected to receive and test the shaky defense of their Big Ten counterpart. Illinois would provide little resistance, allowing the Gators to dominate the line of scrimmage and move the ball with ease. However, Florida became their own worst enemy on this drive, missing a couple of easy passes and was forced to settle for a field goal. The Illini offense would take the field led by their freshman QB D. Blake. However, the first drive would total a loss of nine yards, equate to a punt, and start the Gators off inside Illini territory.

Florida, back on the offensive, looked to continue their dominating line play. On the first play of the drive, the HB would find a large hole, but put the ball on the ground when he reached the second level and the Illini recovered. This would change the outlook of the rest of the game entirely, as from here on in Illinois would not be stopped.

    - Blake to Whitehead for 20 yards - TD Illinois
    - Blake to Lumpkin for 28 yards, fumble recovered by Edwards in the endzone - TD Illinois
    - 84 yard interception return by Collier - TD Illinois
    - Blake to Hernandez for 9 yards - TD Illinois

The score was 28-3 Illinois at half, but the Illini weren't done.

    - James 2 yard rush - TD Illinois

35-3 after three, and the backups got in on the fun

    - Jackson 91 yard rush - TD Illinois
    - Weddle 33 yard FG - FG Illinois

With 1:28 remaining, the Illini led 45-3. Florida would put up a garbage touchdown which did nothing to make the score more presentable.

    STATS
    Florida - Illinois

    First Downs: 7 - 15
    Total Offense: 224 - 432
    Rushes / Yards / TD: 17/75/0 - 36/263/2
    Completions / Attempts / TD: 11/26/1 - 11/19/2
    Passing Yards: 149 - 169
    3rd Down Conversions: 2-10 (20%) - 7-12 (58%)
    Redzone / TD / FG: 0/0/0 - 4/3/1
    Turnovers: 2 - 0
    TOP: 10:17 - 21:43

    D. Blake: 11-19, 169 yards, 2 TD, 167.3 Rating
    R. James: 24 carries, 112 yards, TD
    W. Jackson: 10 carries, 146 yards, TD

    J. Williams: 11-26, 149 yards, TD, INT, 95,4 Rating

    Insight Bowl:
    Michigan 55 vs TAMU 14

Literally every bounce went the Wolverines way in a completely embarrassing showing for Texas A&M, who did not even score till less than two minutes remained in the ball game. Nothing more need be said. A&M still hasn't won a bowl game under Coach Davis. Senior qb Greg Patterson got a chance to play from the 2 minute mark in the 3rd quarter. This was the first action of his career and he threw 2 tds in the last minute and a half.

Oregon wins back to back Rose Bowls!!

The Quack attack smoked Notre Dame, 51-13 (I think)

HB Micheal Watkins scored 3 TDs and rushed for 119 as the Ducks cruised to an easy victory. The Ducks graduate a lot of players on both lines, so I wouldn't expect a three-peat.

Oh, and 8-0 in turnovers. A one handed interception by a lb, and then their rb fumbles but stays on his feet to go scoop it up.

I beat Michigan pretty handily (garbage touchdowns made it close) ... further proof that you can't beat me without magic :p

Well I'm not going to have access to internet through my xbox this week. I'll pop in on here when I can. It would be great if someone could just post when we get to players leaving. I may need someone to handle that for me. I can try to recruit online Monday night.

2015 Holiday Bowl, Sunny San Diego, California

    #24 Missouri Tigers - 10
    #17 UCLA Bruins - 51

UCLA blows the Tigers back to Missouri in this one. UCLA's offense put up 508 yards to Mizzou's 297. The Bruins ran the ball 37 times for 198 yards and 2 TD's. The UCLA air attack was inaccurate but effective, going 10/22 for 310 yards and 3 TD's. The UCLA defense also won the TO batte 2-1 (something we have done all year...too bad it didn't equate to a better record!) The Bruins bring back a strong team next year and look to build off this win.

    Key Stats
UCLA QB Alex McCray 9/20 232 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT
    Mizz QB Roland Lewis 18/31 198 yards, 0 TD, 2 INT's

UCLA HB Joe Dixon 19 carries, 146 yards, 2 TD's
Mizz HB Ken Van 17 carries, 127 yards, 1 TD

UCLA WR Jon Allen 6 catches, 181 yards, 2 TD
Mizz WR Kevin Gay 3 catches, 49 yards

UCLA MLB Cedric Bishop 7 Tackles, 6 solo, 4 TFL
Mizz MLB Patrick Berry 11 Tackles, 9 solo

    2015 BCS National Championship

    Ohio State 44
    Virginia Tech 14

The Ohio State Buckeyes dominate Virginia Tech and cruise to an easy 44-14 victory and have now won back to back National Championships, and their 3rd championship overall. The Buckeyes came out sluggish and had to settle for field goals on their first two possessions and actually found themselves losing in the first quarter 7-6, which they are not accustomed to, as they have only given up 14 total points in the first quarter all year, and have not given up a first quarter point in the last 10 games. But Ohio State would bounce back and take a 27-14 lead into the half thanks to a huge defensive play by OLB Josh Howard, who took an interception back 29 yards back for a touchdown with only 10 seconds left in the half, which gave Ohio State a huge boost going into the half. The 2nd half would be all Ohio State, as the Buckeye defense would completely shut down the VT offense and hold them scoreless for the half. Ohio State would tack on 17 more points in the second half and cruise to an easy victory.

Longhorns crush the Tar-Heels into a fine paste

The great texas senior class goes out in style, pounding North Carolina by 39 points. The GruSome 5-some did not get the title they dreamed of when they all came back for their senior season, but finish their playing college careers at 53 - 3 across the last 4 years with 2 national titles.
