Longhorn Defense Carries Turnover Prone Offense

TrippleHorn gives the ball away 5 times, but the stout texas defense makes up for it only allowing 7 points and forcing 4 turnovers themselves. Holman threw a couple picks, made a bad HB toss and a fumbled late pitch. The defense was keyed on stoping the QB which opened up some huge holes for David Reid on the first read of the triple option.

I'll get on here in a few and advance us to week 14

UCLA crushed Washington 59-14...the 2nd team defense scored 3 TD's in the 4th quarter to really open the game up. Dixon is back and just in time...Ready for those bastards from across town!

This was nobody's fault. A&M finally competed against Texas this year. Next year I will have some veteran experience mixed for the first time ever with some young, explosive speed in my d-backfield to actually play up to the level of UT. The difference will be in the O-line though, as UT has just manhandled us with their defense since the inception of the Davis reign.

I knew I would miss Michael Golden as the only Wr who could really even give me a downfield threat. Our qb just really struggled throwing the ball with any accuracy because he was under siege.

GG WhyGod. TrippleHorn is effective because you make some primetime reads. I should've taken my FG down 17-0 on that 4th and 1 and tried to slowly swing the momentum. Instead it turned into 24-0 moments later. Dang it.

After some technical difficulties, the Beavers crushed the Cal Golden Bears. The game did not start well for the Beavers as Cal jumped out to a 13-0 lead in early in the first quarter. This lead was the result of two Tyler Johnson interceptions. Luckily for the Beavers, they had Sam Edwards, who rushed for 128 yards and scored 4 TDs. The Beavers rushed for over 200 yards with Justin Davis adding 69 yards and scoring 1 TD. The offense appears to be clicking on all cylinders as the Beavers get ready to play the Ducks.

    Maryland - 21

In a must win situation, the red raiders of Texas Tech made a statement in their quest for a bowl game in Saturdays game vs. Maryland. Texas Tech (6-5), were off to a rocky start as Maryland went up early and with force 14-0 on an unstoppable drive and a fumbled punt return. With their backs against the wall the red raiders stormed back before the half was finished with a touchdown catch from E.J. Cox. The teams went into half 14-13 with Tech trailing but the second half was all black and red. Lead by all start junior running back Brandon Williams, Texas Tech secured a 43-21 victory over the Terps and moved one step closer to achieving a bowl bid after a disappointing year. Next the Raiders face Houston (7-4) in another must win game if they are to be seriously considered for a bowl.
