3 turnovers in their last 3 possessions due in the Huskies as the game was 28-28 midway through the 4th quarter. The first in the 3 had to have been the most crushing as the Huskies were in the red zone before HB Chad Hawkins coughed it up. BJ Williams would then take the ball 89 yards for the TD in a delayed handoff out of the shotgun. It was the highlight of what was otherwise a horrific night for BJ. The loss ends the Huskies undefeated run and gives the Wildcats their 6th win of the season. The Wildcats will now have two weeks to prepare for a 2 game road trip that features games at Stanford and UCLA.

He's the only one that got away. I had 9 guys come in; 6 decided to come here. 2 guys still haven't decided. 1 was a soft to LSU, 1 was a soft to o$u, and 1 was a soft for Texas. I got the LSU and o$u guy, but that LB got away.

Texas Jumps on Baylor Early and Cruises to Victory

5 early turnovers by Baylor and the TrippleHorn puts up 42 in the first quarter. Offensive backups played the rest of the game, taking it easy on the beleaguered Baylor Bears. Holman gained 184 yards on 3 completions and 6 rushing attempts, racking up 2 passing TDs and 3 Rushing TDs in the first quarter.

Texas fans are keeping a close watch on how the BCS rankings unfold for the rest of the season.

    UCLA - 44
    Cal - 20

The Bruins raked up their 4th win in a row after starting the season 0-3, defeating Cal in Berkeley. UCLA relied on the ground game for the most part, grinding out almost 200 yards on the ground. Michael Childress had 13 carries for 113 yards and 3 TD's. Sidney George chipped in with 13 carries for 81 yards and a TD. QB Alex McCray had an average day, completing 14 of 29 passes for 170 yards and 2 TD's, but also threw a pick, giving him 10 on the season.

The UCLA defense forced 3 Cal turnovers and recorded a safety. Although Cal was very effective throwing the ball (22/25), they just couldnt seem to score any points in the red zone or maintain any momentum. UCLA hopes to move up in the rankings after sitting at 24th for the 3rd week in a row!

The Quack Attack exploded all over the Sun Devils, taking a 45-7 lead into halftime. The Ducks shut it down in the second half, running the ball and some clock. QB Buck Townsend threw 4 touchdowns, all in the first half. Townsend took the 2nd half off. WR Kevin Walters caught 3 balls for 130 yards and 2 tds. Freshman HB Luke O'Connor continued to amaze, rushing for 140 yards. The Ducks will take their last bye of the season and then host Washington.

A fumble by Penn St would start a trend of them, as Wisconsin took advantage of the short field to go up 7-0. Wisconsin's own fumble though would then give Penn a 10-7 lead. Wisconsin started to pull away, as they scored 16 straight points in the third. Penn would claw its way back, as the score was 29-24 in the fourth. But Livingston busted a huge 44 yard run which set up a Williams score to put the game away. Wisconsin continues to roll, as there are only 2 more games until the much anticipated Ohio St game.

    #2 Wisconsin 39 - #5 Penn St 32

    #18Tamu 44 @ Nebraska 0

Not much to talk about here. Nebraska was 6th in turnover differential, but fumbled the opening kickoff and turned it over 5 times overall. With McCloud down, backup rbs Fry and Neal were ballin, running for almost 240 and 4 tds together. Tamu may be becoming a Big 12 challenger.

Well the game was the same as always when Iowa & Illinois play 'a nail biter'. Ever since the second season every game has come down to a last minute play. And just like last year we headed into overtime but this time the outcome was different as Iowa survives 35 -28.

It was a wild one as the first play was a fumble by Illinois returned for a touchdown of coarse Iowa would return the favor in the 2nd quarter giving Illinois new life but with 6 seconds left in the half Iowa get a quick 7 points to lead in the half 21 - 10. But Illinois D would come up big in the 2nd half not allowing Iowa to score a single point and come back and tie the game and we headed into overtime where in the 2nd overtime Robinson makes a clutch td and Iowa D steps up big on the 4th down play to secure the victory. It was a great back and forth game as usual when playing Cheez.
