Most of us are not recruiting so Im sure that has something to do with it. Most those kids would pick UCLA over UT any day of the week!!!!

I have kept recruiting just for the hell of it. Think I signed the #1 overall recruit and 2 other :5stars: recruit. Everything has been Quick Calls, except when I had to schedule visits.

Anyone else log on today and think that our league was suddenly deleted? Took me a few minutes to see that we have switched over to the legacy.

    #5 USC 49
    Arizona 17

USC knocks out Arizona on the road. The trojans move to 9-1 on the season. They finish the season with 2 huge pac 10 games agaisnt Oregon and UCLA for the Pac-10 title.

NEWS FLASH: Marshall is not a good football team

    Miami 56
    Marshall 0

Miami had a 42 point lead going into half and added 14 points in second half while chewing clock. 14 of Miami's 28 second quarter points came in an 8 second span. Austin punched in a short option TD for the first TD. After the kickoff Marshall's QB fumbled the option pitch and safety Johnson scooped it for TD. Miami added another defensive TD in second quarter on an interception TD by CB Brooks.

Next up for Miami is conference foe Virginia. If the #16 Cavaliers take down #22 Virginia Tech this match would be for the division championship. Following that match the Canes will wrap up regular season against Texas Tech.

Offensive Player of the Game: Austin 11-14 179 yards 2 TD/1 INT; 1 rushing TD

Defensive Player of the Game: Madsen 6 tackles 5 tackles for loss 4 sacks 1 fumble forced

Not much of a game here. Tech was out-matched from the beginning. Good game from my opponent Ceewo. Maybe the last time we meet on the field, but I've enjoyed it.

Okalahoma traveled to Texas Tech with a spot in the Big 12 Championship game on the line. The winner would go on to face Nebraska.

Texas recieved the ball and had no trouble moving the ball. Their passing game was hitting a few openings. Key play was a 3rd and short. Brandon Bryant would sack the Red Raider QB. This sack was his 17th of the year, setting a new single season record for the Sooners. TTU missed the long FG.

Oklahoma answer back with a nice drive led by FR HB Chaz Benjamin. He had several nice runs on the drive and capped it off with a 2 yard TD.

TTU's next drive was very similar to their first. They had no problems moving the ball until they got into scoring range. This time the hit the FG. 7-3 The ensuing kickoff was fumbled by Andy Marks and recovered by TTU. They could not move the ball, again settling for a FG attempt. 7-6

That would be the end of the scoring for TTU on the day. They were plagued by drop passes and penalties, inlcuding a holding call on a long kickoff return. Oklahoma never had any problems moving the ball. Benjamin would go for over 100 yards and 2 TD's on the day, putting him over a 1000 yards for the season. Andy Marks had 2 long TD receptions.

    GG Harris.

    Western Kentucky 12

Florida State created a fumble on the opening kickoff and returned it for a TD. The FSU defense would play strongly the entire game. They allowed less than 100 yards and no points in the first 3 quarters before the second defense allowed 2 late TDs. The offense performed admirably, missing its two biggest threats HB Kevin Vaughn and WR Michael Carey. FSU has tough user games coming up against Texas Tech and OSU, and a date in the ACC Championship Game against the Miami / Virginia winner.

The Bucks rediculously thrash the Wildcats, only allowing one TD on a pick 6 (that pissed me off forcing me to break the single game Passing Yardage and to rip them a new one). The Bucks also kept them under 200 yards total and forced 5 turnovers. Rhoden would ignore the 4 picks he threw in route to a 460 yard passing day with 6 TDs. A total of 7 passing TDs were thrown on the day (one by the backup.) Highlights to come later.
