    UCLA 44
    WSU 3

UCLA wins a snoozer against an overmatched WSU team on a beautiful day at the Rose Bowl. It wasn't a pretty win as UCLA looked very sloppy at times and careless with the football, but the Bruins didn't need a great game to get by Washington State and got a great effort from the defense in a near-shutout. On paper, UCLA looks to cruise through the rest of the Pac-10 schedule with games against Cal, Stanford, and Arizona before a tough stretch to finish the season where they will face 3 ranked teams at #9 Clemson, at #16 Washington, and vs. #13 USC. UCLA is currently #17 in the coaches poll and runs their record to 5-1 on the year.

Game ball goes to WR Jeremy McGee, 5 catches for 118 yards and a score.

    #9 Clemson 63
    NC State 10

Our Tigers got to an early lead today in the first quarter going up 28 - 3 off three touchdown strikes from QB B. Tate and a "pick six" from CB D. Walker. It wasn't much of a contest as Clemson's lead at the break was 42 - 10 and the Wolfpack couldn't even find the endzone in half number two. Once again, wide-out Sammy Watkins led the charge for the Tigers, catching 6 balls for 177 yards and 3 scores. On the day, QB B. Tate was 9/16 for 276 yards and 5 TD's. Clemson's reserves came in for the second half and back-up QB W. Johnson went 6/7 91 yards and 1 TD. He also had one TD on the ground. The Tigers rushing attack was headed up by J. Jackson. He ran for 137 yards on 11 carries and reached the endzone one time.
