A true defensive battle throughout saw Drew Patterson connect with James Reed with under 2 minutes to play to take the lead in Lincoln. It was the second TD pass for the tandem but the Blackshirts made sure that 14 points was enough to win. Marcus Young had 102 yards rushing in the win. Next up: a trip to Austin for a grudge match against the #10 Longhorns. When asked if there was any ill will felt about the trip after last season's Big 12 Championship massacre, Coach PH said "Hell yes there is. That was a classless, bush league move to leave your starters in up 60 (expletive) points in the 4th (expletive) quarter. If the roles are reversed this year, don't think I won't try and win my guy a Heisman in one game."

The Bruins go into Berkley and get a big conference win. Was starting the think this was going to be another game like the ASU one. But I managed to foil EA's plans and escape with the W. Cannon had a big day yardage wise, going over 300 yards. However, he threw no TD's and 3 picks (2 for TD's for Cal). The defense took care of the Cal offense, limiting them to under 200 total yards while the Bruins racked up darn near 500. We are happy with the win but know we need to play better to reach our goal...A Pac10 Championship and a trip to the Rose Bowl!

The Sun Devil D shutdown the Ducks for most of the game, but the Oregon defense scored off of two pick-6's to lead the way. The Oregon defense had 12 TFL's and five sacks. On Offense, Townes and Jenkins once again combined for over 100 yards. The win pushes Oregon to 4-3 on the season.

Reggie Smith throws for 339 yards and 4 TD's, and receiver Marques Washington hauls in 5 passes for 139 yards and 3 TD's as the Red Raiders continue to tear through their Big 12 schedule, winning their fourth in a row at Missouri.

Michigan starting the game strong moving the ball with ease, but 2 INT's near the goaline, including a 98yd pick 6 put the Wolverines in a hole they could not crawl out of. The Nittany Lions made big play after big play. 77yd TD screen play, 70yds TD pass, 98yds Pick 6, 44yd TD pass, 90yd TD pass, and 83yd KO return TD.

GG Suge. I think if you score instead of the INT's in the redzone the game would have been who had the ball last.

Bucks finally win a game after Coach Masler is released from the psych ward following that disastrous game vs Boise. The team played well, nothing too exciting except a 100 yard kick return by Griffin, who later went out for a week on a muscle strain. Rhoden didn't throw any picks and went over 300 yards with a couple of rushing TD's.

"After a couple weeks in a calm environment I felt I was ready to leave. I'm sorry to see my team at 0-4 but now they are 1-5 and I hope to win out the rest of the season," Coach commented following the game.

Defensive game. Okahoma got a couple big plays in the first half to put them ahead. Iowa state moved the ball, but always seemed to stall once they got into Oklahoma territory.
