Kicking off with bang, :4stars: C Randy Ward fills the much needed spot with an instacommit. Ward is an average player with room for improvement.

MIAMI HURRICANES CLASS OF 2017 RECRUITING
    1. OT JAMES REID :4stars:6'5 284 Reid will likely be redshirted to improve his strength and run blocking skills to go with his B Pass Blocking attributes.
    2. WR ADAM WHEELER :4stars:6'4 213 Adam may see some action next season as he has a good size and speed combo. Decent hands (C) and route running (C) give him a better chance to see the field.
    3. SS JAMES ANDERSON :4stars:6'5 221 Anderson has the zone cover (B+) and adequate man skills (B-) to see the field immediately but at his size may be bumped down to the next level and play some LB for the 'Canes.
    4. FS CLINTON BARNES :4stars:6'1 200 Barnes has B speed and B- tackling but his average cover skills (C+) may put him in line for a redshirt year.
    5. CB BRANDON SMITH :4stars:5'9 165lbs Smith has B+ speed and good cover skills (B man & B- zone) but is a student of the game with B+ play recognition. He will add some depth but not likely to see the field.
    6. C RANDY WARD :4stars:6'4 295 Ward provides much needed depth at a position of need but will need to improve to see steady game action as he is rated C across the board in blocking attributes.
