The franchise has been advanced and the Week 3 of the 2016 preseason now open. Playing your preseason game is allowed, but not required. The deadline for preseason week 3 is Tuesday 1/14/14 @ Midnight EST.

Be sure that ALL ROSTER CUTS as well as any OFF-SEASON TRADES are completed before the preseason deadline on Tuesday night. Since we are simming right from preseason week 3 into the regular season, ALL TEAMS are expected to meet the regular season roster requirements BEFORE the advance.

Please also take a moment to review the updated Position Changes & Substitutions rules.

Please keep these requirements in mind when setting up your depth charts for the upcoming simmed season (and beyond). I am seeing quite a few teams with players out of position on depth charts across the league right now. Just because we are simming the season, does not mean the rules governing substitutions are any different.

Please get those rosters fixed up. Thank you all for you attention and cooperation regarding this.

Just wanted to make sure you guys were aware that injuries were ON, as of last night (week 1 preseason). I thought that we turned them off during preseason, but maybe not?

Injuries were left on by mistake. They have now been turned off for the duration of the sim. My apologies to the handful of teams that suffered an injury in the meantime.

Luckily nothing serious. I had about 6 injuries and nearly had a stroke every time one of my guys went down. Lol...

Haha. Well, the only reason it was making me nervous was because it was all my young players with either fast or star development that kept getting injured. What's the point in simming the season for me if my best players can't even accumulate XP.

Luckily, they all came back or are coming back in the preseason.
