Obliterating The Trap - Illini Roll past Indiana
    Illini: 17 21 7 7 52
    Indiana: 0 6 0 0 6

For the second week in a row, the Illini would jump off to a quick start. This week, however, they would not let their foot off the gas pedal. Following the Davenport fumble recovery for a TD on Indiana's opening possession, the Illini would rally off 24 straight before Indiana could get on the board. By then, the game was over and it was up to Illinois to run out the clock.

Even if the Indiana offense had been clicking, the Illini rushing attack was out in full force. Once again the two-headed monster of Justice and Jackson would each pile up over 100 yards a piece. The two would combine for 3 touchdowns, and the backup Gibson would add a forth. combined, the three halfbacks had more than 330 yards between them, while Indiana had only 3 rushing yards for the game.

Battle didnt need to do much outside of hand the ball off, but when he needed to throw a pass he did it well. Battle went 6-8 for 56 yards and a TD.

Next Up for the Illini, the gauntlet begins. Illinois must head off to Madison to take on a Badgers squad who is still in the hunt for a Rose Bowl bid. Coach Cheez is 0-6 against Coach Mexi and the Badgers, but has had a couple of close calls over the years. Maybe this will be the year that he and the Illini can break through the ceiling.

    @Cheez

Have you gone to the dynasty wire lately, we have more proof of Jayrah's magic ability. It appears he turned a Colorado player into the Rafie the Mascot. There is no other explanation for Rafie the Mascot to be on the field, is there?

I wasn't happy he was allowed to stay on the field for a couple plays. We in fact heavily lobbied for a penalty of too many men on the field, but I think he appeared as invisible to the officials, and then subsequently to us, as CU played seemingly with an extra player for the first 3 qtrs, before natural selection took over

    #23Colorado 24 @ #13Texas A&M 27

CU mascot Chip sent a message during the opening kickoff of the game Saturday, that the Buffs were in the building and they would not be leaving Kyle Field quietly. Chip defiantly danced at the 5 yard line in a live ball situation. Then he didn't leave the field for another play. The refs didn't seem to acknowledge that Chip was even visible. This unruly gesture sparked the Buffs to a dominating first 3 qtrs, allowing them to steak claim to a 24-3 lead with about 3 and 1/2 to play in the 3rd qtr. And then finally the Aggie offense woke up, in particular the o-line started attacking downhill and CU went into "don't lose it" mode, where they eventually crumbled under the heavy 12th Man pressure. Willie Higgins would hit a "chip-shot" (no pun intended) through the uprights for the win! 7-1 and still rollin.

Our teams should be close at the beginning but plan on that changing a couple years in...too bad we won't get to play WSU every year!

This OD is just weird to me. I either have Magic screw me in a heartbreaking loss or i have a GREAT game going with the CPU and then they literally start fumbling the ball like the ball is greased...And trust me, its not me user stripping or even big hitting, the ball just falls out...Nonethess...

    Ohio State 63
    Michigan St 0

The Buckeyes pound another Big Ten opponent into the ground as they demolish Michigan State 63-0. The Ohio State defense has been dominate lately and notched their third shutout of a Big Ten opponent in the last 4 weeks. The Buckeyes offense has been incredible thus far this season as they lead the entire nation in points per game. Next week The Buckeyes will battle Penn State.

    UCLA - 58
    WSU - 6

Blow out city in the Palous, as the Bruins rolled over the lowly Cougars. Starters only played the first half. Up next, home against Washington.

With starter HB Bain out for 6 more weeks, the rest of the backfield needed to pick up the slack. And they did just that. Holman got 111 yards and 3 TDs, as Brown added another 103 yards. Ward was efficient also (7 catches 138 yards), as he took a pass on Wisconsin's third play of the game for a 55 yard score. There wasnt much Iowa could do, and the drops by their receivers didnt help (about 6 of them). Good game @omega41
