The Tigers showed that country that they were the best team in the country with a huge win over the second ranked Hokies. Sean Riley threw for just under 300 yards in his last game at LSU. Brandon Smith caught four of those passes for 177 yards. Ray Green had over 100 yards on the ground. The defense did a great job stopping the run and recorded 5 sacks to help keep Tech from moving down the field.
This is the third national title for the Tigers in the Legacy.
Time to sit back and hope my juniors don't go pro. A few SEC losses for potential loss of stars would also be nice for future recruiting.
Georgia 34 Michigan 10 After a National Championship win in 2016, the Bulldogs did not expect to end up Orlando. Thanks to some early losses away from home and a tough loss to LSU in the conference championship game, this was the team's destination. The Bulldogs had to face off against the Wolverines with a shot at some revenge. This game was a good indicator on the progress made by redshirt freshman quarterback Justin Jackson. Unlike the games in Ann Arbor and Columbus, Jackson looked comfortable throwing from the pocket. In total Jackson tossed all three Georgia offensive touchdowns. The first was a pass to WR #4 Antonio Tolbert, over the head of the Michigan safety. The second TD pass was a slant near the goal line. Paul Jones broke the press and Jackson threw a perfect pass. The third and final TD pass was a 48 yard TD pass to Jones. He was left uncovered as Michigan went heavy on run support. The defensive play also improved in this game. In the week 2 meeting Michigan QB M.J. Tremblay passed all over the Bulldogs. In this game he was picked off twice and lost a fumble. The fumble was scooped up by MLB Novak and returned for a short TD. That play swung the momentum in Georgia's favor and it stayed with Georgia the remainder of the game. Georgia heads into the offseason with high expectations for 2018. Most of the key players should return as Georgia's roster boasts just 10 seniors. There will be some juniors attempting to leave early but the turnover rate should be far less than last season.
How the hell did I fall from 13 to unranked with one loss? Stupid ass poll logic
Been away the whole weekend, I will play today
This team will most likely never win a title. Can't ever tackle, always get penalties, and throw way too many INTs. Have to change by offense again as well, cannot run at all even against the 3-6-3 or whatever that defense is.
