    2017 Michigan Wolverines
Michigan has been mired in mediocrity for nearly 15 years years, but now they look to be turning the corner by stealing away a great coach from South Carolina in Coach Petersen. Coach Petersen led a USC program that had never won anything to great heights, winning more games than any other coach in the history of the program with 72 victories and led them to two BCS Bowl berths and wins the only two in school history. Now he is looking to bring his success to Ann Arbor where he hopes to build a contender with the some of the best facilities and most dedication to its program in the country. He left a place where football wasn't much to a place where football is everything. Attempting to right the Wolverine ship will not be an easy task, but it is fairly similar to the job he took over when starting at South Carolina. He has a couple of stars on offense in QB JT Bell and WR Manuel Moses. For now he will have to manage a good running game out of mediocre talent, but hopefully a couple of good recruiting classes will fix the talent level. On defense there are two young, and potentially dominant Defensive Tackles, Alvin Gibson and Dominic Kidd, that create many problems in the middle. The rest of the defense needs some serious work and everybody knows defense wins championships.
Will update with depth chart later
