Kansas survives shootout with Texas Tech, 39-36. Definitely, the most challenging CPU game I have played in this dynasty so far. Jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead, but Texas Tech answered back, and tied the game at 14 going into halftime. The rest of the game went back and forth, as both teams were executing their offenses to perfection. After a long TD run by Kansas [2 point conversion successful], the score was 39-36 in Kansas' favor. The D finally stepped up, and sacked the TTU QB twice, to seal the victory. Kansas is now 3-1 (1-0) this season.

I'm going on auto. I don't know if I'll be able to return for this season at all. The gf and I are really busy getting our business off the ground so we don't have to work our regular jobs anymore and any free time is spent playing a game or 2 of Halo with her. I'll stay in touch.

I really dont know if I should continue with this season (except for the A&M game). I do not remember EVER being as angry at a video game as I was at the end of my PSU game (23-16 Nittany Lions)... and there is a financial cost that has come about due to this (will get to that later)

Both teams were absolutely god awful. Penn State had 2 turnovers inside my 1 yard line (one of which ended up with a safety), and Illinois could move the ball up to about the 20, but that would be it. Hence, a 9-5 baseball score at half. Penn State started the second half with another field goal, making the score 9-8. However, the 1 point lead would soon grow, as Renaldo James busted a 69 yard TD run, making it 16-8.

Here's where the game started acting a little hokey. every time I would try to switch a player, it would send me all the way across the field, make it impossible to stop them on their next drive. They would score quickly, and make it 16-16 after the 2 point conversion. The score would remain the same until the last play of the game, where PSU broke a 98 yard TD run with no time remaining

Now, I normally am pretty even tempered, and when I do get a little upset I toss my controller onto the couch so as to not break anything.
    ....
i missed the couch. window busted. still cleaning up now. Wonderful day!!

As for whether I keep going, I dunno. I'm really, really, fed up with 11 after this game, so we shall see.

was following the plan just fine until everything started acting funky. Never trailed during the game until after the last play.

So did everyone enjoy/survive their child's birthday party? I enjoyed mine, but barely survived it.

I don't know what to say. Is it your team, or your throwing arm? ;) You definitely should have requested W. Kentucky. You clearly need them more than I did.

I'm not going to be able to get my game in today. Between the bday party and another party I was hosting this afternoon, this evening was wife time. I'll just have to live with a sim. Hopefully, I can beat Kansas St.

Mine was a little crazy. I did the birthday cake, which ended up being three two-layer tiers of chocolate cake with pink buttercream icing...because when your 3 year old daughter asks for chocolate cake with pink icing for her birthday, that's what she gets.
