The ACC champs are now looking to be SEC champs in a new conference. A lot of talent and starters graduated, but some good depth should keep the Tigers from falling off.

QB: Highly touted Blake Chase takes over as QB1. He has a great arm with 93 THP and 95 THA. In limited time as a backup he has looked good in games. Not gonna outrun any one, but were not asking him to run the RO.

HB: Tiger fans were ecstatic to find out HB Campbell didnt leave for the NFL. Running for 1321 yards last year, ge will be the main back. Johnson will be the scat back to and also to spell for Camp.

WR: All the starters are back, which might not be such a great thing. 3 receivers had more drops than TD's. But, they are usually not asked to do too much. Walker has been a pleasant surprise. He's ability to stretch the field vertically is a key on PA passes. TE Wade is a hoss and isnt brought down by the first tackle.

OL: The tackle position will see 2 new starters. Hopefully they play well at a young age. Chase isnt going to be able to extend passing plays with his feet.

DL: The DT's are decent but inexperienced. Hopefully the will hold up against the run.

LB: All the starters are new, and true freshman MLB Estes might be the starter.

DB: The corners are great at breaking up passes. Just not great at getting interceptions. The safeties are young but have great talent.

We look like a very good team, and every unit looks better that they were last year. With improved blocking at O-Line, TE, and FB, we're looking to run the ball well. On defense, we lost 2 D-Line starters and a LB, but we reloaded at those positions. We led the nation in turnovers forced so hopefully we can do it again.

QB - Eric Everett is back for his RS Soph. season. Runs like a HB and has a pretty good arm.

Backs - We return all 4 HBs that we used last season and RS fresh Anthony Cowan will also be added to the rotation as a power back. Vaughn had over 1,000 yards last season and will be the primary ballcarrier. Pugh will take over the #2 spot and is very fast. Fullback Will James is a fantastic blocker and will play FB, but he has proven to be dangerous with the ball in his hands, he might even be the 2nd best runner on the team.

Receivers - 6'4" Craig Jacobs will be the main target for Everett and 5'8" Mario Barbour narrowly beat out Bobby Kemp for the #2 spot. All 3 are seniors. TE Justin Dukes is a pretty good pass catcher and has fantastic blocking skills which will really help the run game.

O-Line - All 5 starters and our #6 lineman return. It's a very solid line and we may have a few formations with 6 offensive linemen as well as TE Dukes and FB James who run block very, very well.

D-Line - We lost 2 starters on the D-Line, but this group is solid, led by D-Tackles Dan Grant and Isaiah Keyes. FSU will rotate 5 guys on the remaining 2 DE spots.

Linebackers - Matthew Thomas is back with his 32 career INTs. We did lose our #2 and #3 LB's for our 4-2-5 set, but the replacements are just about as good. Senior and JUCO transfer Derrick Smart will start at the 2nd LB spot, and Sears, Fox, and Roberts will see time at LB and occasionally SS.

Secondary - Secondary was our weakest spot last year, but most of it is back. We lost one of our corners, but other than that everybody from the 2-deep is back. The success of the unit will depend on how 6'4" Matt Dukes and 6'4" Chris Schneider play at strong safety.
