    :4stars:#7 T Derrick Morgan
Very balanced and solid all around player with excellent run blocking footwork.

    :4stars:#13 T Nate Bentley
A better raw blocker than Morgan and excels in pass protection. He is not nearly as large, however.

    :4stars:#11 CB Jacob Clemens
Speed is a on the low end, but his coverage skills and ability to pursue the ball carrier are good. He usually comes down with jump balls. Jacob will most likely be used to cover slot receivers in nickel and dime packages if his speed does not improve.

:3stars:#24 G Jamaal Smith (JUCO JR)
Jamaal will be able to step in right away and provide some depth on the offense line. His acceleration is great, and he's very good all around.

:4stars:#15 DT Maurice Hall (JUCO JR)
Very strong and a sure tackler, decent at pass rushing and good at getting to the ball. He is a 6'5" 300 lb monster who has the skills to fit well into a 4-3 system. He should be able to compete for a lot of playing time in the two season he will have at Virginia Tech.

    :3stars:#18 CB Grant Harrison
Decent speed and good in coverage. Needs work with run support

    :5stars: #2 WR Joel Brown
Fans are already hailing him as the next Brent Cameron. Will he be able to live up to these standards? Joel has good speed and acceleration. His catching and route running are very solid, much better than most players as fast as he is coming in to the collegiate ranks. He is very good at getting off of press coverage and jumping up to snag high passes. He never fumbles the ball and can run all day without getting tired. His moves with the ball aren't all that great, but he does a good job of running straight through arm tackles.
