LongGone posted the idea of expanding awards for our players. I'm bored at work and not feeling motivated so I'd like to propose the following:

Freshman of the Year - Everyone can submit Freshmen/RS Freshmen who have contributed and we vote on a winner. We can also do an offensive and defensive FOY.

Career Achievement Award - Since all of our current players have been recruited in the game a lot of them have had a long and illustrious 4 seasons. Everyone can post the career stats for multi-year starting Seniors and we can vote on a winner

All Chompions Team - Starters for all positions picked from League teams. Lots of competition for the skill positions of course. We can also have Honorable Mention.

League Offensive and Defensive POY - Offensive POY will always be the Heisman winner a user wins the Heisman but Defensive could be interesting.

Highest Rated Senior - Everyone can post their highest rated senior for their team. Lots of 99s from some of the powerhouse teams. If you have a tie you, as coach, can pick your favorite.

Chompions Recruit of the Year- After recruiting is over and everyone is put in their final positions everyone can submit their highest rated recruits. If there is a tie for overall rating we can take into account their impact on their team. For example, if tOSU and UNC both have a 82 overall QB coming in we can probably agree that he will have a bigger impact, and sooner, for UNC.

Please submit any other ideas you have. If you think any of these are dumb or are too time consuming, just let me know. If you guys are too busy, you can submit names and let someone else who has more time do the research on stats/ratings and such. I would love to see more content in this league.

Love it, especially freshman of the year, career achievement award, all chompions team and league offensive and defensive POY. Please follow through with this! I think the best way to do it is if everyone puts their nominations in here, and then create a poll for each one during bowl week. We will sticky a thread with a history of winners.

For the All Chompions team, everyone should just submit their team here and then we count the nominations.

Think this is great...love it when you guys spearhead content. If you follow through with it, it makes for a great experience. Speaking of which...anyone want to take on the power rankings? I simply don't have time to do it while running this OD. (LongGONE24) would be great for it.

If I have time, no problem at all I did begin what will be a strenuous semester of college but I should find mini-spurts here and there. I don`t want to commit to doing it after specific weeks but I`ll try and do 2-3 a year. I will do one before this season ends. I appreciate the honour Spayer!

Coach of the year should be added and to be honest I don't think it should go to who the game decides in fact because they win Heisman in the game they shouldn't be allowed to win, a league Heisman voted in sort of a consolation.

No TE? And throw in a FB or maybe another WR since few teams utilize the FB position.

Go ahead and submit your own, or anyones players for the POY categories. Especially the Career Achievement award. You are much more likely to know who your best seniors have been career wise.

I can't check the stats here at work, but I'm surprised that neither of the GT WRs made the list. I guess they are splitting up too many yards.

I still haven't scouted my 5* MLB I will post his final grading when I get two 60minute scouting sessions on him, so likely week 15 if I can go on to recruit quickly I dont believe theres any user games that week.

FYI, I was in agreement with almost all of Crumblers picks. Just a few differences.

    Athlete- Early King OU

This was a lot harder to decide on than I thought it would be. I know I've got a lot of my own guys on here, but I felt the stats backed it up. QB was obviously a tough choice to make, with both Gant and GT's Green equally deserving but I had to support my guy. I also struggled a lot with the LB position, UM's Micah Walker and UF's Nick Alexander are just a couple of about half a dozen other guys that I thought were deserving. Then again, most every position was difficult to narrow down. I'm sure I probably missed some great players but it's just tough to keep up with everyone as you're shuffling through different teams and stats. I originally figured Early King (man I'm glad he's a senior) would easily be on here as a WR, but after looking at Foreman's stats I had to go with him. Only 2 drops while hauling in 40 catches for 1300+ yards and 15 TDs, that's awesome. Hopefully I got all the names right, I worked from scribbled notes on a little notepad to write this up.
