2 [IMG] Stanford 2-0 W Michigan State Arizona State
    3 [IMG] Nebraska 2-0 W Miami BYE
4 [IMG] UCLA 2-0 W Penn State Washington State
5 [IMG] Michigan State 1-1 L Stanford BYE
6 [IMG] Cal 1-1 L Ohio State Penn State
7 [IMG] Washington State 2-0 W Colorado UCLA
    8 [IMG] Northwestern 1-1 L USC
    9 [IMG] Arizona State 1-1 L Washington

Biggest Loser: Michigan State loses to Stanford. Although it doesn't look bad to lose to the #5 team, MSU's offense looked atrocious. Good thing UCLA's offense is bad too, so MSU might be able to pull out a win if they score 10 points this week.

Biggest Winner: Washington State beats Colorado. Not a big win, but coach Cougs doesn't have to deal with the media after guaranteeing a win. Not sure if this win counts as "killing" Colorado as predicted. Too bad Cougs has guaranteed WaSU to win its next 3 games (it's written down.)

Not So Fast: UCLA beats reigning National Champion Penn State. Pretty impressive, huh? Well Penn State lost to Florida 41-17 last week as they coach WhyGodWhy pulled an Urban Meyer and took a leave of absence. We'll see what UCLA is made of after they face Washington State and Michigan State the next 2 weeks.

Rank Team Record Last Week This Week
1 [IMG] Ohio State 2-0 BYE Baylor
2 [IMG] Stanford 3-0 W Arizona State Utah
3 [IMG] Nebraska 2-0 BYE West Virginia
4 [IMG] Washington State 3-0 W UCLA Arizona State
5 [IMG] Michigan State 1-1 BYE UCLA
6 [IMG] UCLA 2-1 L Washington State Michigan State
7 [IMG] Cal 1-2 L Penn State USC
8 [IMG] Northwestern 1-1 BYE Hawaii
9 [IMG] Arizona State 1-2 L Stanford Washington State

Biggest Loser: UCLA lost to Washington State. Although we knew this was going to happen because Cougs guaranteed a win, nobody expected to see 7 interceptions thrown by UCLA. UCLA's offense looks pretty bad this year, so the game against MSU, who has no offense and a good defense has been moved off the Big 10 network's schedule in favor of Minnesota-Purdue.

Biggest Winner: Washington State beat UCLA pretty handily. UCLA made mistakes and Washington State sneaks into the top-25 for the first time in about 16 years. Washington might stick around in the top-25 if they can handle the 2 Arizona schools in the next 2 weeks.

Staying put: Big 10 users didn't get to play this week because Cheez decided this was the Pac-12's week to shine. Pac-12 went 2-3, but the 2 victories were in user games, so we'll just say the Big 10 beat the Pac-12 this week. They're tied in the Big 10-Pac-12 challenge 1-1 at this time with MSU-UCLA the only game between the 2 conference this week.

Rank Team Record Last Week This Week
1 [IMG] Ohio State 3-0 W Baylor Stanford
2 [IMG] Stanford 4-0 W Utah Ohio State
3 [IMG] Nebraska 3-0 W West Virginia Arizona State
4 [IMG] Washington State 4-0 W Arizona State Arizona
5 [IMG] UCLA 3-1 W Michigan State BYE
6 [IMG] Michigan State 1-2 L UCLA Wisconsin
    7 [IMG] Northwestern 2-1 W Hawaii Illinois
    8 [IMG] Cal 1-3 L USC Colorado
9 [IMG] Arizona State 1-3 W Washington State Nebraska

Biggest Winner: Ohio State beat Baylor 59-0. We saw some teams with important wins, like UCLA over MSU and WSU over ASU, but it they didn't win very emphatically over not to great teams. Ohio State is rolling forward and is ready for Stanford this week.

Biggest Loser: Arizona State had their chance to start climbing out of the cellar vs. Washington State. Although WSU was 3-0, we knew Arizona State could've pulled the upset. They didn't do it and now sit at 1-3 and travel to Nebraska this week where they are 16 point underdogs.

On The Hot Seat: It's not good to lose 2 consecutive games after a 13-win season, but the Michigan State coach in under fire after how he handled the game vs. UCLA. After changing the offensive scheme, it has not worked at all, but what fans are upset about is how he benched his starting QB down 1 with 1 minute remaining. The result: A pick on his 1st attempt. He better hope he beats Wisconsin this week.
