It has been brought to my attention that sometimes the Madden has a hard time handing out awards to its proper recipient. Well in times like these I like to bring something I like to call the user awards. Awards determined by us, the users. It has a two step process. First, is nominating individuals to put on the ballot. Second, is filling out our ballots once it has been created. We will do things on a TMFL scale rather than breaking it down by conference, so keep that in mind when doing your nominating. Without further ado, let’s start with the balloting.

    Here are the rules:
    1. Everyone gets 1 choice
    2. The choice is to submit a nomination, second someone else’s nomination, or simply abstain as either their nominee has already been locked onto the ballot or they just don’t want to partake
    3. The nomination process will last 24 hours

A point of emphasis. Let's get as much participation as possible. I'd like to not tip the vote early this year by 8 guys saying the same name in the nomination process. So, if you see that someone has sealed their spot on the ballot, just let me know you are abstaining from the nomination process of this award. Heck, maybe even throw a name out there and see if you can get someone to second that nomination so someone can feel good about being on the ballot. I just want to know you're actively coming to the threads so content like this can continue.

The Texans were blessed with outstanding picks in round one and round two.

HB Cedric Gordon (7th overall pick) finally gave Houston an everydown back. He had quite the workload with 408 carries.
    Season Stats:
1839 rush yards, 16 rush TD
    41 rec 380 yards, 3 rec TD

QB Ethan Jordan (39th overall pick) gave the Texans the QB they were looking to build around. At the start of the season, coaches took it easy on him as he wasn't expected to do much. He really turned it on towards the end of the season with Houston winning 4 of 5. During that 5 game stretch, Ethan passed for 1709 yards with 14 TD and only 2 INT.
    Season Stats
    310 of 515 (60%) 4339 yards 29 TD 13 INT 96.9 QBR

It is hard to chose only one, but I will have to nominate Ethan Jordan

I was going to say Lamar Howard to be different here... But only 5 TD's on the year compared to Gordons 16... I think Gordon is the clear choice here.. no need to even vote

I nominate or second (not sure if he's been officially nominated) Texans QB Ethan Jordan. He was tougher to stop than the Texans RB

I refuse to be the guy to nominate my own players, so I will second Rasheem Scott from Mexico City
