Advanced, deadline Friday 10 PM
I got those bye week blues.
Pagamer07 the Sooners might suck but stay the hell out of Oklahoma.
Did you get that QB?
whoa what? i didn't play ncstate yet! i thought deadline was later tonight?
Really sorry man. Thought you played. Dynasty wire had you marked green and everything.
np man. if this was season 1 i'd be kinda pissed. since we're kinda winding down and only playing 1 more season or so its not too big of a deal.
Yep. He'll be the latest in the long line of underachieving Oklahoma QBs.
Probably still had you marked as on autopilot on the website.
Well just read week 7 post that makes this one obsolete.
Week 6 Nebraska was the #9 team in the country.
Week 8 roles around and with a win in week 6 and week 7 Nebraska is now the #12 team in the country.
also, can we can Heisman recruiting for '13. this is rediculous. i go to 5* and feel like i recruit like rice...
lol. you only beat VT by 4 scores...terrible.
For the most part of that game it was way closer than that.
Do you keep a list of failed HoF candidates or do I have to go searching through archive threads?
I do not. Sorry
Stat of the night:
Nebraska and Ohio State go for a combined 2/19 on third down conversions (1 each).
I'm on piloto automatico , raced last night & race again tonight. Shoulda played the damn thing Wednesday night after you advanced on me but I was tired as F.... not like another sim will make or break my 0-5 team that can't even beat a C+ Duke team in a SIM
Big plays lead Sooners past Wildcats WR Mark Hughes had a monster game catching 5 passes for 166 yards with 2 touchdowns in Oklahoma's 35-3 victory. Hughes' 2 touchdowns came 1:01 apart in the 1st quarter on plays of 43 and 64 yards. While QB Rodney Hill completed less then 50% of his passes he had numerous plays over 30 yards and ended with 360 yards through the air. WR Mike Golden caught a 48 yard pass in the closing moments of the 1st half to give OU a 21-3 halftime lead. Hill hooked up with WR John Williamson for another long touchdown this time for 78 yards. Backup RB Jerome Gunn capped off the scoring with a 1 yard run with 3 seconds remaining in the 3rd quarter. Defensive tackle Kevin Brown continued his great freshman season recording 5 tackles 3 of which were sacks and also added a forced fumble. Wildcat QB Kyle Owens was harassed all game long being sacked 7 times and only threw for 117 yards on 12/21 passing. Thanks to the schedule maker this was the last home game of season for this turrible edition of the Sooners. Hopefully when the team next kicks off in Norman they will field a more competitive team. OU Key PlayerWR Mark Hughes 5 Receptions 166 Yards 2 TD
No surprise here got destroyed by the run again to another freshman giving up 286 yards...smh
gg. after getting sacked 7 times on 17 attempts, 4 by an 81 OVR run stopper within 2 seconds, i said F it and just ran every run play in my playbook. i didn't want to run that much, but when EA programs any, ANY DT in the game to swim past your 90 OVR lineman within 1 second, i don't have much choice. the funny part is, my 96 DT didn't get a sack and u were sacked twice...fing EA.
i want to be a passing team, but unless u throw slant, go's or quick curls, the routes take 4 seconds to develop and the QB has 2 seconds to throw...
not QQing about winning, but i wish i could play a passing style of team against users, and its just not possible for some reason.
Haha yea I was wondering if your O-line was bad but I looked and they are pretty good so that is pretty lame that its like that and I understand "If it aint broke dont fix it" you exploited a weakness I wouldnt want to pass on me either
I had trouble throwing against ZCar too. I ended up with a good completion % but I got lucky and had to go short a lot. And crushing him on the ground certainly helped.
Looks like we are good to advance. If not people can get made at me instead.
not possible for you. i pass just fine against users...
