Let's take a look at the past offseason FA signings and how they have played out in 2020.....

    Winner: JFace907
    Player: Sergio Romo - $1M/1yr
Season: Romo apparently didn't get the #teepeetankjob message in Cleveland. At 37, Romo has put together one of his best seasons in the bigs. Romo is 7-3 on the year, with a 2.69 FIP, 54K's/16 BB's and a 1.75 ERA.

    Loser: Dylema
    Player: Matt Garza - $20M/3yr - 3rd: TO
Season: To be honest, I didn't think this was a bad deal to begin the season. Garza started off hot by going 4-0 with a 1.97 era through 5/5. Its been all down hill since. Garza is currently costing his team wins with a -.5 WAR, even with a .245 BABIP, the old vet is pitching to a 4.69 ERA, 1.49 K/BB and a 5.38 FIP.

    Loser: krtgolfing
    Player: James McCann - $16.5M/2yr - 2nd: PO
Season: Coming off a career year in MIL, LA decided to pay McCann like an everyday catcher. Too bad it looks like he won't become that guy. James is sitting on a .263 wOBA, 61 OPS+and a -.8 WAR with 1 more year to go on his contract.

    Winner: PAgamer07
    Player: Al Alburquerque - $21M/4yr 3rd/4th: TO
Season: I'm usually not a fan of handing out long term deals to a 34 yaer old RP, but with the 2 years of TO's, this looks to be a nice steal for the Pirates. Al has saved 21 games, with a 2.59 era, 70K's/26 BB's and a 3.2 FIP.

    Winner(for now): Confucius Rex
    Player: Yu Darvish - $45M/5yr - 4th/5th: VO
Season: Darvish has had a good season despite the low win total, the question is how he does in the later years of the contract. Yu has sported a 2.70 K/BB, 3.71 FIP, 3.77 ERA but is only 3-7 in OAK

    Winner: krtgolfing
    Player: Corey Hart - $1.6M/1yr
Season: Who would of thought the 38 year old Hart still had another productive year in him. Corey has surprised the naysayers with a 2.0 WAR season, 119 OPS+, 15 HR's and 25 2B's.

    Loser: PepperNY
    Player: Javier Suarez - $16.5M/3yr 3rd: PO
Season: Suarez could never live up to expectations in Houston but the Rays apparently saw something in him that warranted a long term deal. Suarez has continued to disappoint, .262 wOBA, -.8 WAR and a .207 AVG has the TB fans regretting this deal.

    Loser: abolishthefed
    Player: Matt Kemp - $31M/2yr 2nd: TO
Season: Former Giant killer, Matt Kemp, joined the other side for the 2020 season. The Giants unfortunately got the old washed up version of the player. Kemp has hit lefties fairly well, but for $15M you don't want to see the .207 avg vs RHP. While the bat hasn't been the worst I've seen, his fielding in CF may be. Kemp is sporting a -12 ZR and overall has a .4 WAR season going.

    ------------------------------

Jury still out: Verlander/Cueto (ryalaman), Longoria (ty5oke), Mason Williams (Fmode11), Chen Lee (Drifterbub)

Other losses: Peacock (Drifterbub), Rodriguez (ty5oke), Skaggs (briosu99), Green (BigSmooth33)

Other winners: Marshall (ryalaman), Street (Timpegoose), Greinke/Walden (goldenglove2),
