The Raiders opened the season with a solid win vs a feisty Atlanta team that was out of it then crawled back into it as the game came to a close. Some key fumbles and stout run defense powered the Raiders to the victory.

Carr throws for 5 TDs in this Raiders win. Defense again comes up big as the Panther can't do anything on offense nor can they slow down the Raider passing attack.

ummmmmm, so.... Oakland lost a few games they should have won. several BS catches were caught, quite a few great passes were dropped. Some of this some of that and we are at 3-5, bottom of the division bottom of the cycle.

The Pittsburgh likely secured their playoff berth with a three point win over rival Cincinnati behind an opportunistic defense that forced three turnovers. With Big Ben recently being placed on IR and likely played his last NFL snaps rookie Keifer Patrick played well throwing three touchdowns and an interception. It's ironic he's gotten hot down the stretch and gotten the Steelers into the playoffs in imitate fashion that saw Ben thrust into stardom. Only time will tell how long he shines in the playoffs.
