This is going to be another stellar class for Ohio State, even with being limited to 2
I only instant-signed one croot.
6'4 285lb Somerset, KY
B Strength, Pass Block Footwork
B- Pass/Run Block, Run Block Footwork/Strength
OSU needs bodies on the O-Line so this is a key pickup. He could end up playing inside at G depending on how this class turns out.
#24 TE Troy Walker kicks off the 2020 class. He's not special per se but with 22 open spots anyone is welcome in week 1. Plus he's 6'8 218 so jump balls will be a little fun.
This is going to be a difficult pull but we'll try to nail 16-18 of em and go to the offseason with as few spots to fill as possible. Could be the best class yet, we'll see though, with high profile recruits comes a lot of high profile competition.
Michigan State gets 2 commits
Scott Wade #6 C
Wade looks like he'll be a 3 or 4 year starter for MSU. He is solid around the board (mostly C+'s) and may need to redshirt year 1. He is a better pass blocker which suits well to the MSU system.
Darell Powers #2 WR
Powers could be Michigan State's next Lukas Adams. When he steps on campus he is expected to be the faster player on the MSU receiving core, which will already have about 10 players fighting the top 5 spots. Powers is just 5'11" but he has the speed and hands to make a big impact.
2 commits for Stanford as well
#2 G Leslie Robinson
Big, Strong, and Fast. Might see him move over to tackle
#6 CB Fred Crowder
Little short for what I like CBs to do, but he will be good in the slot. Really speedy guy who might see some time returning punts / kicks as well.
Northwestern actually has players interested in them. But no insta commits.
No instants for ND...... zero 4* or better players had me #1...... could be a long recruiting year
Were gonna have some battles for some players. And I now have mostly B rankings haha
TAKE HIM DOWN, MEXI!!!
I love the new you! So animated about losing to the rivals! I wonder what 2 in a row would do to you.....?
I see a couple for sure. You're closing in and prolly have more time to throw their way. 22 spots leaves me really thin...
you know exactly what it would do. I lost 3 in a row to you last release as Illinois vs. Texas A&M
Ah yes the investigators would come-a-knockin!
rioting with pitchforks and torches? yes
When I lose, WSU can't sign anyone, When I win WSU can't sign anyone
Im thinking Im screwed this year too...2nd on everyone's board. Gonna either steal them or have to start from scratch!
What is a shame I am only losing one recruit to a user, and that is a guard from Arizona to Boom. I am losing CB to Oregon and Washington. I am losing a Tackle to BYU. I am losing another guard to Fresno.
The jump to #2 and a home win may garner us some recruits worth talking about. Had 3 important guys visiting vs Tamu. Played an ugly game but won comfortably. For now though I got a commit from #14 rb Nate Miller out of Manoa, HI. Hawaii has been a huge asset to Cal recently.
Badgers filled a position need by landing TE Thomas Hood. We are still going after the #1 TE and hope to get him.
The Future of my already weak offensive line is not looking good. I've whiffed on 3 o linemen this year so far. May be able to pick up a few 3 stars but they will just be stop gaps.
similar situation. I have quite a few kids in vs. Iowa. I need to either lock up or lose a couple this week. CPU teams jumping on a couple of croots im slow playing and I need the extra minutes!
Same here. Last year it took until week 12/13 to get my 1st commit. I sure hope it doesn't take nearly as long this year...I have 20ish scholarships to fill!!
I don't feel as bad for you after last season's 7 instant commits week 1 Can I please have that Juco QB
If I can steal this other QB from Kapono you can have him
If I had more time I would help negative recruit him for you but I don't since Im scrambling to sign all these bastards! Kapono doesnt need a QB anyways...all he does is run the ball
