Can someone who has access to the game now let me know what the bonus demand for SP Joseph 'Babe Ruth's Legs' Mitchell is? Thanks.
Which is why i had to pass on him We instead felt Donald Jefferson was the best place to go. The Dolan family still has our draft budget in a vice grip. What i wouldn't do to have someone take out the Dolan family. Or if they could somehow get involved in some sort of fraud scheme like the Bluth family (eh I Peench eh)
for future, if you go to statslab and a player has a bonus, roll over the $ and it will tell you the demand.
I thought it was the same for the whole league, but changes whether or not you're set on Win Now, Neutral, or Rebuilding when your budget is set at the start of the offseason.
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boa...draft-budget-free-agent-room-thing-works.html That thread also agrees with me. I checked it all during the draft fiasco we had in Nippon in season 2. It's how draft budgets work.
I'm sure you're aware that I can see everyone's budgets. The fact that 3/4th the league is on "Neutral" and we dont all have the same draft budget tells me the game doesnt work this way. There is clearly other deciding factors outside of "Team Focus".
I've actually done my research on this one and looked into it. Default setting has it the way I described. I did test files at home to check how it worked and that was how it worked in every file I had. Only thing I can think of is that it was done differently when the Dugout file was started up and that OOTP changed how it was set up, because it also worked the way I described in Nippon.
With the 16th pick in the 2029 MLB Amateur Draft, the New York Yankees select SP Joseph 'Babe Ruth's Legs' Mitchell: As if the nickname wasnt fitting enough, getting Mitchell at 16 felt like to much of a steal to pass up for me. While I was hoping to focus on a power hitter in this draft, Mitchell is more then I could have hoped for this late. His potentials are outstanding (aside from his control which clearly leaves little room for regression) and despite being 19, hes not terribly underdeveloped. Also his 286 strikeouts in 126.1 IPs, high school or not, speak for themselves. Lets just hope his quality work ethic and intelligence keep him from regressing as I cant to see what this kid can do if he reaches his potential.
