Once again, we're awarding Compensation picks for compensation eligible players that got signed by NBL teams this year. Thats not something that normally happens and we'll have to manually adjust. If you feel you're missing a Supplemental Pick, please PM me with all the players you had that were comp eligible and I'll look into it.

The draft will be up in StatsLab some time tonight and reports will be updated by tomorrow afternoon. The timer doesnt start until 9 AM EST Saturday morning, but lets please not waste an entire day for 3 picks on Friday. Just because the timer isnt on doesnt mean you shouldnt pick. The faster we get this done the faster we can get off 48 hour sims.

That being said, Blaza is up.

Sorry guys, I was having trouble logging into the site via my usual www.traditionatwork.com path. I'll draft as soon as possible this afternoon.

After going High Schooler last year, the FO decided it's time to draft someone who could come in and impact the org a little bit quicker. We're gonna have to convince him though that "Trixie" needs to be the name of the stripper he sleeps with. Not his own nickname....

With the 3rd Pick Boston goes with the top man on their board. Caine comes in at 20 years old and he may not have the top control or movement of the top players in the draft but has 4 extremely solid pitches and Caine along with last years 1st round pick Larry Triplet it gives Boston a formidable combination of lefties coming forward. Caine comes with a big price tag but we are willing to take the opportunity with Caine.

Colorado takes "Diamond John", hoping he will become a force sooner rather than later in the MLB for the Rockies!

The Braves selected SP JJ Pickett out of Vanderbilt. Pickett is one of the most advanced pitchers in this draft, and is capable of making an impact in the MLB within 2 years. Our scouts loved his elite curveball and changeup, both of which reminded them a bit of former Atlanta great Julio Teheran (minus the raw stuff that is).

Tigers select pretty-boy "Horseface" Barker out of St. Louis. A hard throwing southpaw with a great splitter/change-up combo should produce a good k/9 rate if he matures to his abilities. Could be a front-end of the rotation guy if that slider comes around.
