    The Dugout

Congrats to HAL9100 and the Phillies for winning their 3rd World Series ring. Can you say 'dynasty'?

DO NOT MAKE FREE AGENT OFFERS UNTIL AFTER SIM #1

You are responsible for making sure Rule 5 eligible players are protected. We're no longer fixing mistakes if a player gets drafted "on accident".

#1: 2/03/15 - Sim to 12/1 - Arbitration / awards processed during sim. Once file is up you may protect players from the Rule 5 draft / create in game draft lists. Also, FA opens up after this sim.

    #2: 2/04/15 - Sim to 1/1 - Rule 5 draft processed - First sim of FA signings.

    #3: 2/05/15 - Sim to 2/1 - Second sim of FA signings.

#4: 2/06/15 - Sim to 2/26 - Last sim of offseason FA signings. Start of Spring Training.

#5: 2/07/15 - Sim to 4/1 - Disable suspensions for Spring Training and sim ST. Re-enable suspensions and lower DFA to 22 days and waivers to 12 days at the end of the sim.

    #6: 2/08/15 - Opening Day!

    Reminders

    Teams receiving a financial strike:
    • None.

    Teams with current financial strikes:
    • None.

The draft lottery will be up Tuesday or Wednesday.

Don't forget development budgets may now be updated at any time during the offseason.

Do Not forget about contract rules in the league description. Team, Player and Vesting options are BANNED!!

Uploading the file now, it should be up shortly.

Offseason Sim #1 will be TOMORROW.

The NBL is now gone and players have been moved to their respective teams. I had some issue with pro time transferring with the players, so if they had NBL pro experience, I just put them on 3 year, 4M per year deals (which all but a few prospects got). I also made a change that the Draft Pool will now reveal during Sim #1 (versus previously revealing in Sim #4). This will give us more time for the draft and should allow us to continue 24 hour sims throughout the season versus having to slow down.

The Dugout pretty much broke even this year losing just $8 Mil collectively.

question about things that transfered over from NPB, as of now it shows STL KENJI OIKE available for the rule 5.... but it doesn't look like he should be, correct? Just want to check.

Looks like you're correct to me. He's on the active roster but didn't get on the 40 man roster somehow.

rschwep I voided Vincent Hampton's extension, you're going to have to re offer him. Please make sure you re-read the rules thread and offer extensions that follow contract guidelines.

Blaza, I went ahead and just removed you. It had been 12 days since you last exported and you exported today just to put your team on CPU control. I have people on the wait list that will legitimately be active. That being said kdpnutter, I've readded you as the Atlanta Braves.

I thought I took off all of the options. Apologies. I guess when he rejected a offer and came back with a counter, that got rechecked and I didn't notice. I'll be more vigilant.

Trust me I was even out with my cell phone calculator trying to ensure I had within 20%. Damn Vincent's agents trying to trick me into a penalty with their shady counter offers...

You are far from the only one breaking out the calculator on every offer.
