This was a classic match-up between two Top 5 teams. Michigan's Defense would muster two stops the whole game, one on LSU's first possession and one on their last. The rest of the game was an offensive war. Denard Robinson showed out on the ground and in the air. He was 13-15 for 186 yds, 1 TD through the air and ran for (15, 113, 1TD). Vincent Smith also rushed for over 100 finding the endzone 3 times. LSU was unable to run the ball very well and surrendered 4 sacks to the Michigan Defense. However, Brad Bass and the passing game were a force. Bass threw for over 400 yds and 4 TDs. LSU has two very tough receivers in Rueben Randle (6, 106, 2TD) and Chris Tolliver (7, 103, 1TD). They will be a force to reckon with for their remaining schedule. Michigan travels to Athens, Georgia next week to take on another SEC foe, the Georgia Bulldogs.
