    Hello all,

Thank you Ren for your advice it is appreciated. I do have a question for you? So if you have a 12ft putt and its uphill by lets say 3 inches do you put the marker at 14 feet and aim for that spot and what about downhill putts say scenario 12ft putt downhill three inches do you put the marker at 9 inches.

I try to visualize the putt meter when I putt and the other thing I have a tendency not to hit putts straight I yank them to the left and to the right its a rarity if I hit a straight putt unless its 2 feet away.

Thank you Vlad for your words of encouragement too it will definitely help out. I took last night off to relax and watch the Stanley Cup playoffs and have dinner with the wife and relax. I will be ready to go come Thursday for the Players Championship.

The cool is to shoot below +10 for each round since my handicap is 10.

Take care and good luck to all this week.

It is 1 foot for every inch of elevation. So 12 foot 3" up will be 15 ,12 foot 3'' downhill will be 9
    No problem

Like Vlad said, it is 1 inch equals 1 foot. However, on uphill putts I usually add 1 to 2 feet to make sure I get it there, so 12 foot putt, 3 inches up, I would aim about 16 or 17 feet out (12 foot + 3 inches up + 2 extra). On downhill I usually aim 0 to 1 foot extra depending on the severity of the slope, so 9 foot putt, 3 inches down, I would aim about 6 or 7 feet out (9 foot - 3 inches down + 0 or 1 extra). The reason there is variability is because it depends on your swing mechanic. For example, if you always swing red/red (overswing/fast tempo) then you would aim shorter. I swing red/blue (overswing/slow tempo) so I have to aim a little farther. That is why I was talking about how important the consistency is in your swing.

As far as the left and right, take practice swings. If you line up your putt, "click in" on the shot stick and you will go into practice swing mode. The other option is to figure out a "trick" that will help you. For example, some people put their thumb between the sticks as a "guide" to help them swing straight. I don't do that, but I've heard of people doing it. I just take practice swings, especially if I get "stuck" where I hit a few bad shots or putts in a row.

    Ok gentleman,
after a few hiccups the Masters in now in the history books!

The surprise of the tournament was SmokeCG25 . With 3 rounds under par, highlighted by Saturday 66 he finished 6th.his best result so far,and a net-score of -12,was
more than enough to make him The Masters PRO-AM Champion

houdiniHUSKER takes this one down in dramatic fashion with a birdie on the 72nd hole.In addition to all the glory and endorsement contracts,he gets to display this trophy in his signature.

Just a shot behind him boil16 recorder his 4th top 5 finish of the season. The result further established him as the favorite for the PS3 Matchplay tournament and a serious treat for the rest of the year.

Tied for 3rd were Tandor and Marc Martin. Both of them finished only few shots behind the winner, proving there will be plenty of competition in this year's tour.
The 3rd place was also enough for Martin to keep his spot on the top of the TCCT Cup Standings.

Thanks for players and good luck in the next tournament

    Great job houdiniHUSKER.

I thought I had no chance after bogeying my very first 3 holes of the tournament. And after a double bogey on 7 in the final round, it adds even more salt to the wound that I finished only 4 back :banghead:

Wow, I didn't realize I would end up that high! I just felt "dialed in" while I was playing this time.
