    Okay everyone, heres the deal.

    With these players, I need to know what the "intentions" were of the owners that won the bid.

    Kolb = off by 4.76mil

    Greene = okay
    Sean Smith = off by 5.709
    Knighton = off by 10k

    Essentially this was brought to my attention by RynoAid

    In the last crazy few minutes of bidding, its easy to see why some teams maybe swayed a bit off from the 40% rule. In reality, those teams DID win that bid. Its simply a technicality that would send them back to Free Agency, which is not fair. I need to know about these players.

    Hall
    Kolb
    Terrell Thomas
    Sean Smith
    Knighton

    I want to address each of these individually.

    For Hall - I have already spoke to Ryno and it was his intention to sign Hall. Therefore I will manually add the correct 40% rule worth of signing bonus (in this case adding an additional 1.4million). Case closed.

    For Kolb - it is significantly off. -Cougars- Were you simply dropping out of bidding once you learned of the 40% rule or did you simply not understand it or what? I need to know so I can figure out what to do with Kolb.

    Thomas - Same deal. With it being significantly off, I'm assuming DerekC had no intention of signing him. Derek, let me know.

    Smith - Same deal. JSimms

    Knighton - this bid is extremely close at only 10k off of the 40% rule. bjbdahitman - I'm assuming you were in fact trying to sign him?

    I didn't understand it, since this is my first Madden league I'm not used to those type of things in the offseason. And now that I see Kaiser has solid accuracy now, there is no need for Kolb.

    40% of his salary = his signing bonus, at minimum. I can either edit his contract so that is the case or you can send him back to FA, bid period 2. Let me know.

    We tried to explain to you multiple times that Kaiser will progress nicely. That said, if you ever don't understand something get in touch with me.

    Kolb will go back in to FA bid period 2.

    Wish I would have known it was going to play out this way; I stopped bidding on Hall when I noticed the other bidder wasn't offering the right bonus and knew that he was going to go back into FA....which is also why I didn't correct Sean Smith's contract. If Hall is not going to be released back into FA per the original rule set in place, then please correct Sean Smith's contract accordingly and I will keep him on my roster.

    seriously?.. do you think it's realistic to do math that fast? My intent was to sign Hall, if you wanted him you should have kept offering.. not try and back your way into getting him on a technicality... just my opinion. I was off by a small percentage.

    And if you stopped bidding on Hall, it wasn't until the last minute.. we were back and forth all the way to the end.
