San Francisco..AP....Owner Jim Black announced late last night that the 49ers have fired offensive coordinator Greg Roman after two dismal seasons. The passing game has suffered greatly in that span and Black felt the team had to go in a new direction. "We just weren't getting the job done. Its time for a change."The 49ers have hired Josh McDaniel away form the Patriots. This should give them a unique opportunity to really take advantage of the 49ers offensive strength at the TE position. "Obviously, Josh has experience in game planning two elite TE's so this is going to be a great move for us", Black said. We still would like him to keep some of our Pistol elements to take advantage of Colin's abilities as well. The 49ers are currently 1-1 and are looking to rebound from the previous two bad seasons.

Black just has to hire Tim Teebow and say he learned the Josh McDaniel offense in Denver.

It wasnt really a complete McDaniels offense in denver like it is/was in New England. He could hire Teddy Bruschi or Kevin Faulk.
