The Steelers Expect To Be Back In Playoffs Next Season

Season Grade: (A-) Pittsburgh had a fantastic season, but fell short in the Conference Championship
Offense: (A) Offensively Pittsburgh had one its best seasons in a long time. Led by Ben Roethlisberger
Defense: (B) Defensively the Steelers are getting older, and slowing down. We will see what 2013 brings.

    Quarterback: A +
Ben Roethlisberger will lead the charge again next season, with full support from head coach Troy Harris

-Note- Steelers need to find an adequate back up in case Big Ben goes down, with the departure of Byron Leftwitch the Steelers need to find a backup-

    Running Back: B+
Rashard Mendenhall has resigned a big contract with Pittsburgh. The Steelers also have a deep backfield with Jonathan Dwyer and Chris Rainey

    Offensive Line: B
The Steelers offensive line is probably the most solid group overall that the Steelers have had since the Jerome Bettis days. Maybe the Steelers return to smash mouth style football?

-Note- Willie Colon may have to fight for a spot with the NFL draft coming up.

    Wide Receiver: A+

Speed, Speed, Speed. It helps put points on the board, and Big Ben has plenty of targets to go to in the air.

-Note- Big contracts could spell disaster in cap room later on.

    Defensive Line: C
The Beard is gone in Pittsburgh. The loss of Brett Kiesel really hurts the defensive line grade.

-Note- The Steelers are looking to draft more defensive lineman to add to Pittsburgh's long time defensive tradition

    Linebacker: B+
Lamar Woodley and the Steelers linebacker group will be depended on all season.
-Note-The Steelers lose James Harrison to retirement, the Steelers need to find an outside linebacker this off season.

    Secondary: A
Pittsburgh's secondary is better than ever. Coach Harris has put a lot of focus on its secondary all year

Miami aims for repeat Super Bowl Win

Season Grade: (A+) Miami was able to stun a lot of critics to go on and win the Super Bowl
Offense: (C-) The Dolphins seemed to struggle at times on Offense. Look for Ryan Tannehill to work hard in the offseason
Defense: (A) Young and stellar defense. Look for them to start right where they left off. Led by Cameron Wake, Karlos Dansby and Sean Smith

    Quarterback: B-
Tannehill stuggles at times but showed improvement, which earns him the starting spot in Coach Winkler's eye

    Running Back: B+
Reggie Bush leads the way at running back, Miami has nice young depth with Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas to support Bush

Note: There has been some rumors that Miami is willing to deal Bush, with the liking of Lamar Miller stepping up into the starting role.

    Offensive Line: B-
Jake Long and Mike Pouncey are shoe ins for starters, as for the others anything can happen at this point. Coach Winkler wants to find a dependable RT

    Wide Receiver: F
Right now there are only two receivers on the roster. Bess and Anthony Armstrong.

Note: This is the biggest focus for the Dolphins right now look for them to pick up a receiver in Free Agency and the Rookie Draft

    Defensive Line: A+
The strongest part of the Miami Dolphins. Cameron Wake, Randy Starks, Paul Soliai and Jared Odrick. Possibly the best front 4 in the league

    Linebacker: C+
Little older but Karlos Dansby knows how to lead a team

Note: Dolphins are looking for someone to learn and possibly replace Dansby in the future

    Secondary: B+
Reigning Super Bowl MVP Sean Smith leads the secondary to what seems like a very good one

Note: Smith got the franchise tag, look for Miami to try and sign him to a long term contract this season

Patriots Making Moves Return Trophy to New England

Season Grade (A-) Lost to a young and upcoming Miami Dolphins team who won Super Bowl
Offense (A) With Brady at the helm, this team will always put up points, but aquiring CJ Spiller will help
Defense (B+) Had a top 5 Defense last year and get Darrell Revis in the lineup

    Quarterback (A+)

Brady is still best QB in the league and makes superstars out of everyone on the offense

    Running Back (B+)

CJ Spiller will add dynamics and a solid running game and can catch the ball as good as any back in the NFL.

    O-line (B)

    patriots offensive line.jpeg

With an open spot open at the right guard position, this line looks to open holes for Spiller and protect Brady

    Wide Receiver/ Tight End (B)

Suprised everyone and traded Welker and Hernandez to clear up some cap space and get younger. Look for the Patriots to either get some young talent in the draft or in free agency.

    Defensive Line (B+)

Wilfork will lead this Defensive Line who had the top rush defense last season. Wilfork drawing 2 offensive lineman all season helped Chandler Jones get 22 sacks last season.

    Linebacker (B)

Being led by Jerod Mayo and newly aquired Jevon Belcher, the Patriots boast a strong LB core.

    Secondary (A)

With Darrell Revis and Devin McCourty the Patriots have one of the best corner duos and might add more depth in draft and with free agency.
