Okay, I am debating on position changing RE Kyle Vanden Bosch to DT. His overall goes up to an 83 there, which would bump his salary up.

    However....

He would still be #2 on the depth chart at DT with the beastman known as Suh at #1. Hence, he would be a 2 mod.

    However....

At his current position, he is a 3 mod.

    So.....

IF I did position change him, his salary would go up, but his modifier would stay at a 3, right?

actually win in position changes the player assumes the highest mod of that position, so he would be a 3. Its the "Price" you pay for the movement to prevent folks from doing frivolous changes.... Not sure if that helps your decision :)

His mod goes to 3 and KVB's back-up takes the 3 mod at DE

Yeah, we had this discussion about another player. I'll probably end up trading/cutting him soon.
