[IMG] Clemson - (11-3 last season, 6-3 in conference)
Clemson returns this year as the reigning champions in the ACC after a defeat of Miami last season in Jacksonville. Clemson has hired a new coordinator this season from Southern Miss, that will install a 2 QB system with Kyle Parker getting the start. To go with a new system, Clemson has 8 preseason ACC All Americans returning. The Tigers are picked to win the ACC this season but will have a tough road ahead of them.
[IMG] NC State - (10-3 last season, 5-3 in conference)
The Wolfpack played great last year under new coach H22. The only true hiccup was the loss to Clemson, that cost the Wolfpack a shot at the ACC title. With All-Americans Russell Wilson and Mustfa Greene controlling the backfield, NC State is finally back on the map. They are one of the favorites to win the ACC title and with the Coaches punishing defense, there is no reason they shouldn't be among the elite.
[IMG] Florida State - (4-8 last season, 2-6 in conference)
The Seminoles had a rough year in 2010. FSU could surprise some this season, as Coach DJ has got his players believing big things in Tallahassee. The Seminoles were bottom dwellings last year only collecting 2 wins in the conference. Future star WR Tawain Easterling returns this year and he will be a key cog in the FSU success. Fans in Tallahassee want some victories!
[IMG] Wake Forest - (5-7 last season, 3-5 in conference)
It wasn't good to be a Demon Deacon last season. A few years ago Wake Forest was playing in BCS games, last year they regressed to under .500. With DT Nikita Whitlock returning as a Preseason ACC All-American, the Deacon defense line looks to be strong. But the problem for Wake Forest is they could be short on talent, and need to be long on luck. Look for another rough season for Wake.
[IMG] Boston College - (7-6 last season, 3-5 in conference)
The Golden Eagles finished above .500 last year but struggled with most of their losses coming to other ACC opponents. Halfback Montel Harris should help the Golden Eagles to a better record this year, as long as the defense can hold up the other end.
[IMG] Maryland - (4-8 last season, 2-6 in conference)
Any other year tieing FSU would be a great accomplishment, except in 2010. Maryland was tied for the bottom dwelling lead. Ballhawking Free Safety Kenny Tate will be leading the Terrapin defense this year. Maryland will be again facing the bottom of the league.
    Coastal

[IMG] North Carolina - (9-4 last season, 4-4 in conference)
The Tar Heels are the preseason favorite to win the Coastal division in the ACC. This comes after a strong finish to 2010 and a strong spring for the team. The Tar Heels have 3 preseason All-Americans in the front seven, including stud MLB Kevin Reddick. Reddick is the signal caller for a defense that should be one of the stingiest defenses in North Carolina history.
[IMG] Virgina Tech - (10-3 last season, 5-3 in conference)
The Hokies were strong last season, until Coach NRG had to take a leave of absence. In stepped the Assistant Head Coach, and the Hokie players seem to quit. NRG is back and the Hokies are still among the most talented teams in the NCAA. They have a tough schedule beginning with Tennessee, but the Coach should have the players ready for a magical 2011 season.
[IMG] Miami - (11-3 last season, 8-1 in conference)
Miami had a great, magical season going until they ran into South Florida in the last game of the regular season. Then they would lose three straight games, including the ACC Championship to Clemson. Now even though they lost one game in conference last year, they are picked third in the Coastal divison, and Coach Bob will try and show the NCAA that the Canes are for real.
[IMG] Georgia Tech - (8-5 last season, 4-4 in conference)
The Yellow Jackets were strong in the beginning of the season, but once they got in conference play their success quickly faded. The option didn't work so well for Ga Tech late last year, and the low point was a huge loss to the Canes where they only gained 40 yards rushing.
[IMG] Virginia - (6-6 last season, 3-5 in conference)
Virginia finished last in the Coastal in 2010, and they will be among the bottom this year according to preseason polls. The Cavaliers have struggled to acquire talent because most of the student athletes want to go to in state rival Virginia Tech. It will again be a tough season for the Cavs.
[IMG] Duke - (5-7 last season, 4-4 in conference)
Duke actually finished .500 in the conference behind a pretty good no huddle offense. The Blue Devils haven't had this much success since the late 80s. Even though they finished under .500, Duke will again be about mid pack in conference, hopefully for their fans they can steal a win or two.

Bob, Kyle Parker stayed at Clemson even though he was drafted in the MLB draft and was benched in favor of Tajh Boyd last season? Man, I thought for sure he was gone.
