I have discussed this with Masler a bit, and we decided to bring this to you guys. The league, at it's current 72 hour pace, tends to plod along. It is possible to go for over a week without playing a game if you hit your bye week. TMFL, when many of us were there, did a pretty decent job with the 48 hour advance schedule.

    So, what say you, NextFL?

How long do people have to vote on this? 48 hours or 72?

72 for me, I am good with the slower pace, but if it went to 48 I wouldn't go nuts about it.

That's how I feel. It would make it a little tougher with my work schedule but its still doable.

I try to never agree with saw just on principle but this is how I am. It'd likely lead to a couple more CPU games for my opponents just because Mondays and Tuesdays suck something awful.

    But a faster pace isn't a deal-breaker.

I do want to say one thing, it seems many teams are struggling to get their games in 72 hrs. We're only in week three and there have been several instances each week of teams waiting till the last minute to play their games. How do we think bumping it to 48 will improve things? If it means more CPU play and more simmed games, that isn't a good thing.

I would prefer 48, however, I'm fine with 72. Posting the scheduling thread a day in advance helps.

Seems a good number of people either don't check boards regularly or responded until the last minute based on what I see when in the scheduling thread. With 32 users there are going to be issues that come up but people should be able to check/post to the boards regularly IMO.

Issues with certain users not scheduling their games on time need to be brought to the commish's attention. I usually am first to contact my opponent and haven't had any issues with scheduling. I'm good with 48 hrs, however in the Spring/Summer it may get more difficult as I'm an avid golfer.

Suggestion: Maybe next release since I think most of us experience some sort of winter that limits our outside activities...In the Winter move to 48 hr advance, then once warmer weather comes move to 72 hour advance..? Just a thought..

Changing to 48 would weed out the slackers for sure.

Would it weed out sawemoff ?

Because then I'd be all for it.

I'd much rather do 72 hours. 6 day work weeks don't make scheduling easy.
