Advance to Week 5 and Week 4 Recap

Today, we advanced to week five.

Some news and reviews of Week 4:

Two big MAC wins over Big 10 teams: NIU over Northwestern and Toledo over Purdue. Good resume builders right there.

In the SBC, Murk took down a good Maryland team.

Two user games happened in conference in the Sun Belt last week, with a big win by Prewett, but the biggest injury of the season so far. The Fightin' Dwights have lost their fight as Dwight Dasher has gone down with a torn Pectoral. Good luck to MTSU in recovering from that injury.

Maximo had a big win over Reese, but I'm fully confident Reese's Pieces (Sorry, the joke had to be made) will rebound and put together a good result this next week.

Big games for the following week:

    • North Texas-ULL
      • It's an SBC brawl. We'll see if Maximo can carry the mojo into next week.
    • Western Michigan takes on ECU
      • Western Michigan has an opportunity to rebound in a big way this week. Good luck!

    Individual player updates:

The Cradle has three top 15 QBs in its ranks with Dwight Dasher of MTSU, Wesley Carroll of FIU, and Zac Dysert of Miami U occupying high ranks so far.

Chadd Spann of NIU is off to a great start rushing the ball with 9 TDs and more than 700 yards. Freak. His 9 TDs are only bested by Thomas Merriweather of Miami's 10 end-zone trips.

AJ Penson of NT and Stephen Roberts of MTSU lead the SBC with more than 25 tackles each. In impressive news, Troy has two players with 24 tackles each, and FIU has three players who have an average of 20 tackles each. Yowza. Mario Addison of Troy has also added 7 sacks on the year.

In the MAC, Mike Johns of Miami has posted 7 sacks, while two Ohio players have posted more than 25 tackles each.

Good luck this next week, guys. Let's try to advance by Friday (at the latest).
