2 user games this week - #9 Fresno St vs #6 Penn St (someone's getting their first L) and Nevada vs UNLV.

Good recruiting hauls for Ohio State and Clemson. Florida St, Iowa and Penn St have to go reassess their boards though, as each lost a ton of recruits to rival schools this week. Especially FSU, who lost 9 guys off their board with no FSU commits incoming. Pep, climb out of the bottle, it will be ok....

How many guys were you targeting? Were they mainly in pipeline states? The pipeline bonus you get is hard to overcome if you are recruiting against another top school and they have the bonus but you do not. Another thing that I know a lot of us have started doing is not targeting many guys that you don't start in the top 3-5 on, and also it's really key this year to know when to walk away from a recruit. I'm finding that if I can't crack the top 2 within a few weeks on a guy, I'm likely never going to, and once a guy is a soft commit somewhere, I stop wasting time on him.

Take this with somewhat of a grain of salt, as I'm using Miss St and Houston in two of my 3 OD's, so I have to really pick and choose my battles.

I'm doing the same thing Dru. I think the real key is knowing when to keep trying and when to fold it up. If I start falling behind 15-20% I pull the plug.

Have little kids camp tonight so I don't get home until about 9:00 central. If we work all day today at the field like yesterday (6AM-9PM) then I'll be in no shape tonight, if we get to go home for a while during the day, then maybe.

I'd prefer Wed. around 9:30 PM if possible...but...what evening is best for you?

And the good news is Clemson is not close to being done.... I've even had to retract prospects who I had a 500+ point lead with because I would go over my 70 limit if I signed everyone.

Right now we're the #11 class and I have at minimum two more big time recruits signing during the season... one is all ready a soft commit.

Shino (and everyone), Perry and I have been talking of allowing everyone to recruit up to a total of 72, and therefore cut 2 in the offseason. Final decision will be forthcoming soon.

Sorry man, we've been debating about recruiting to 72 or letting people cut down to 68, we didn't want to announce anything until we decided which way to go.

It's no problem.... Maybe I can salvage those guys next week.... The funny thing is I had like 40+ minutes left over and nothing to do with them... So I recruited some random dude for no reason.

I apologize to all but the advance will be held up one more night. Me and Jman were having some connection issues and I was suffering from serious lag so I will be going to my alternative location tomorrow night and we will advance then. Thank you and have a good day.

I blame Dru. The second Perry is granted commish powers he kills the dynasty. :p

J/K of course, now I just have to wait another night to ensure my 5 soft commits officially sign.

Well after I read that Hokie wouldn't be back until Sunday I was just hoping that no one would mind if this advance was held up one more day.

Plus Pep is out of town due to the death of his father. Take your time, we shouldn't advance to the week after next until Sunday or Monday with both of them being gone anyway.
