How the hell are you averaging 44 yards per catch with Nelson?? At this rate he's gonna have a McDowell type season lol.

I am going to have to do something about Nelson. If it werent for his 50 Awr rating, he would be a 95 ovr WR. I had to not throw to him many times when he was open against Boise and Uconn or I couldve had 500+ yard receiving with him each game. They run, especially Boise, some sort of 4-2-5 I believe. Every snap Boise had all of their defenders within 5 yards of the LOS and both teams jammed my receivers almost all game. Problem is, Jenkins beats the press about 15-20% of the time and Nelson about 90% of the time. So Boises stacked defense shut down my run game and short passing game, I couldnt do shit against them, but kept letting my guys get open deep down the sideline and deep over the middle. Every play, Nelson swats passed the CB and his 99 acc has him open with a 10 yard cushion. I toss him the ball, the defender trying to catch up does a diving tackle that doesnt quite get there, and I walk in. If you look at Huffmans stats, you will see the ints, those are attempts at short passes where the ball was swarmed by defenders, especiall short to medium over the middle.

You don't think with my WR corps that I can't do the same thing? or worse?

It's both easy to get into and out of a situation like that.

yes and no. This is why I only threw to him 4 or 5 times. And I tried to get out of it, but I also threw 3 or 4 picks a game attempting it, and a 2 yard rushing average. It is easy to pound the rock all game with a stud Oline and HB, which I have neither. My offense is Nelson and Jenkins... The rushing attempts and receiving targets are there in a balance, however, the success is weighted towards the impact WR. I throw everywhere, and attempt to run, he just is open to always catch it and bust open for big plays.

Well this blows, no matter what playbook I use, the game freezes when I try to load my Oregon game. This blows even more as I have several recruits in for a visit in tight races.

Do you know who the coach is? Maybe its an old user coach that had a custom playbook?

I guess retiring and having Drifterbub reinvite you so you can join as Oregon and change the playbook would be the best option. Unless he can over ride it as commish but I don't think you can do that.

I'm not sure if mine is showing a restart or not, but when I started my game, I realized I did not set what I wanted my recruit to do on his visit. I didn't even make it to kickoff before I quit to fix the recruiting visit.

I'm not sure if he has to retire, we still have one opening. We could get someone to log in and just change it, or if we can't find anyone, I guess we could just retire, log in as Oregon, and change it up.
