Advanced to Week 1
USC v Florida State
A&M v Georgia
When u want to play drift?
Damn. Huge games. A&m vs ga should be interesting.
I guess whenever. You free most of the night?
yeah just name a time and i'll be ready...
9:00 cst? I'm actually going to hop on and do my recruiting, but it might take me a while because I haven't really had a chance to set up my board.
yeah thats fine....
I will be online around 915-930pm mtn time zone, so if Florida State wants to run.
I can play tonight, but 9:30 PM Mountain Time is to late to start for me. That is 11:30 PM here, ending at 12:30 or 1 and I work at 6:30.
Can you play a couple hours earlier? Maybe 7:30 or 8:00 MTN?
Well tonight I have a basketball meeting to go to for school as it starts Wednesday. I won't be home until 8 pm mtn time, so I don't know if that is too late for you. The meeting starts at 6:30 mtn, I will be home for a 2 hour period (between 4:15-6:15) so if you want to run. We would have to start no later then 4:45. Let me know.
8PM MNT = 10 PM my time, so that is fine to start.
Ok, 8 mtn/ 10 est. See you tonight.
This the last game? Im assuming it is, we usually plow through the first few weeks.
Diggin still has to play his game I think.
Just got home, getting online in 5 minutes.
Graaaaaaaaaaaves? Come out, come out where ever you aaaaaare!
We will be advancing tonight.
Sorry sorry boys!! I'll have it done as soon as I get home from work...
I was out all night... thought I was going to celebrate a Gold medal for the Canadian hockey team.... did any of you even know there was a game? Well guess what... USA won the Gold Medal in overtime... depressing...
Our Junior hockey is equivalent to University Football down there.... its a dark day in Canada losing to you guys! But its good for american hockey.. I believe its only their second gold medal.
Was it even televised?
I saw a highlight on SportsCenter.
BBJ, we're up in week 2. I can play late tonight, like 11:30 pm eastern.
Bogey, when do you want to do Oregon-FSU (aka Duck with a Side of Beatdown)?
lol It was definitely televised all accross Canada... I doubt much in the southern states though.
It was quite the atmosphere and has become a great rivalry. USA was winning the game 5-3 with less than three minutes to go in the third period and Canada tied the game and sent it to Overtime..... it was just a tease though. USA was lucky, Canada has 7 players in the NHL that are young enough to play on this team but couldn't because the NHL club wouldn't release them.
For any of you guys that don't pay attention to hockey... watch some of the above clip and you will understand our passion for the sport.
I understand and like hockey. Had it been bigger and more abundant down here I would have probably played growing up. My body type fits hockey perfectly, plus, I can outrun anyone on some skates.
I've been to a Stars game and a Houston Aeros game and both of them were really fun.
Most people don't like it because they don't understand it. It's the same with soccer and the same with baseball and football for other countries. When you don't understand the rules and how the game flows, it can be pretty boring to watch.
... unlike basketball, which I understand perfectly and still hate.
I watched Canada beat Latvia like 20-0 or something last week. Big win for the US even though nobody knows aboot it.
Watched every game of the Juniors. After the US gave up the 2nd 2 goal lead against the Canadians last night i thought it was over. The goalies were absolute shit last night, but at least a great goal won it in OT.
The last time the Juniors were in the States it was in North Dakota and i had seats to watch Ovechkin, Malkin, Crosby, Carter, Pheonuef, Getzlaf, Perry, and Bergeron play. That tourney had the most talent for any Junior tourney. Team Canada in '05 could be an NHL All-star team today. They were so stacked.
