Well Wake has dropped to #4 in all polls behind USC and Ohio St... So it looks like both Wake and Mizzou need some help to get a crack at OM.

His depth is really good, but we can only field 11 at a time. I am only losing 5 starters this year, so my team should be better. If I can close the gap between my 22 and his I stand a better chance. So hopefully I can jump from a B- to a B or even B+

2 Conference setup > 3 conference setup. I just want to reiterate that I warned everyone of this before we even started this year, lol. There is no balance with three conferences.

How so? I think the missing guy in Big XII hurts some. But this allows us to advance a bit faster this way with less user games, and more users in title contention. We have 6 of us in top 10.

    I'm off today and tomorrow.

I have to look at a place for the rehearsal dinner in our wedding tonight, but besides that I'm free the next two days.

Just name a time and I'll probably be able to play.

I thought you voted for the 3 conference setup? lol.

It doesn't hurt much unless that guy would be using Oklahoma or Texas A&M at this point. Just look at Lawdog's success in NCAA '10 with a team in California of all places. He had to go through two tough divisional opponents and then play Mutt's Huskers or my Aggies in the title game to even have a shot at a good bowl game. Not to mention that I basically kept everyone out of Texas for the most part. This year he has one game to worry about before the conference championship game where he will likely face his whipping boy in S Carolina.

Personally, I would like to see a conference with BBJ, JR and OM all in it. At least only one of them will emerge, lol.

Two conferences is definitely better. I'd almost like to go to one conference but then we would just be playing for a conference title every year. Also if we did that I would likely go 2-10 every year.

We can always schedule more non conf games... But OM has been beating his non conf opponents as well... I was competing with him pretty tough, a play or 2 away from winning one early on and the dc fest we had, but then those 5 stars he started signing were too much, and when the original roster guys graduated, My older guys were terrible for a few years. It has taken me this long just to start getting a solid defensive squad going. Next year will be my first with all my recruits and I think it will be different. But I dont think any user has beaten him in the past 4-5 seasons... Only Bama has slowed him down.

And to clarify, not saying I am the most awesome NCAA player by any means, but I think I am capable of keeping him honest and competing each year.

Well it's not just the number of games we play, either. When there are more user controlled teams that are in the same recruiting grounds, the harder it is to grab top talent. If there were six users in the SEC, I don't think he would have had as MUCH success. Plus, he would have to go through at least 4 users a season.

That may have been true early on, but he didnt even grab a home state recruit this year. Basically once you get a NC and get that 6* going, he has been able to recruit in any state. I've had to play 4 users my last 3 seasons including this one...

Is there a way we can go to a 2 conference setup now or is it just to late? I think the 3 conference setup hurt us as a whole(i might have been for it in the beginning, can't remember though).

If it can't be done, then I would figure we move back to the 2 conference setup when NCAA 12 drops.

I'm not talking about anything BUT early on. That's my point, it would have taken him longer to rise with more chances of getting beat and other coaches knocking on his prospective recruits door.

No, we aren't changing. We'll reevaluate it all when we get closer to '12.

    Prove me wrong. :)
