    Advanced to Week 13

NEXT ADVANCE SUNDAY 11:59 PM EST

    Week 13: Games to Watch

    Raiders (8-3) at Steelers (7-4)

Due to San Diego losing last week, the Raiders now find themselves tied for first place in the AFC West. Oakland took down the Cowboys last week 42-28 behind a 3 touchdown performance by Keith Null. They also got a good effort on the ground by McFadden and Fargas. Pittsburgh is safely in control of the AFC North and looking to stay in the race for a first round bye. Willie Parker had a huge day on the ground racking up 162 yards and 3 TDs while QB Charlie Batch threw 3 TDs en route to a 45-14 victory over the struggling Ravens.

    Eagles (9-2) at Falcons (6-5)

Philly keeps chugging along controlling the NFC East with their 3 game lead over the Cowboys and Giants. The Eagles won a tough defensive game over the Redskins 27-17 behind a good defensive effort that has been missing for most of the season. The Falcons are coming off a tough blowout loss to the Bucs as their coach Mogriff went missing leading up to the game and the team couldn’t overcome their leader not being there. Luckily for the Falcons, the Saints also lost which still puts both teams in a tie for the lead in the NFC South.

    Titans (8-3) at Colts (7-4)

With new coach Elite B Man at the helm the Titans are playing some great football. Tennessee has sole control off first place in the AFC South after their win and the Colts’ loss. They won a low scoring defensive battle against the Cardinals. They’re going to need a similar effort against the Colts offense. Indianapolis fell to second place in the division after losing a close game to the Texans. Peyton Manning had a solid game throwing 4 touchdowns. Colts want back in the first place spot they’ve grown accustomed to having for the past 8 years.

    Cowboys (6-5) at Giants (6-5)

Both of these suddenly struggling teams no find themselves in a big fight for a wildcard. With 6 teams within 1 game of each other for both wildcard spots wins are much needed for these NFC East foes. The Cowboys are reeling after the sudden retirement of Coach Ryno. They hope the hire of Coach Herc will help right the ship. Dallas dropped their game to the Raiders last week as they stuggled on defense and didn’t get much offensively besides a great game by Marion Barber and his 3 TDs. The Giants were shut down by the Broncos as Brandon Jacobs found it tough to break runs and was held to only 76 yards rushing. It’s anyone’s guess on who is going to come out on top in this one.

    Patriots (8-3) at Dolphins (10-1)

The Patriots look to close the gap with the Dolphins this week in a key AFC East matchup. New England is 2 games out of first place and holding on to one of the AFC Wildcard spots. They come off a nice 45-21 win over the NFC South leading Saints. Tom Brady threw 6 TDs in the game including two to Randy Moss. In their last meeting with Miami, Brady didn’t have a good game as he threw 4 INTs. Miami has been very consistent all season and are currently on an 8 game winning streak. Their defense has played well all season allowing the least points per game in the league. The Dolphins beat up Buffalo in their 52-28 win putting up over 500 yards of total offense.

    HotRod’s Power Rankings
    1. Miami Dolphins (10-1). 8 game winning streak behind solid defensive play.
    2. Green Bay Packers (10-1). Lost their first game as their coach went on a getaway to Puerto Rico
    3. Philadelphia Eagles (9-2). Now find themselves close to locking up the NFC East.
    4. San Diego Chargers (8-3). Tough loss to the Chiefs last week but now have to battle it out with Oakland in the AFC West
    5. Oakland Raiders (8-3). These guys are for real and they keep winning. Can’t wait to see Round 2 with San Diego.
    5. New England Patriots (8-3). Live and die by Brady and Moss. Fortunately they have been living pretty well.
    6. Tennessee Titans (8-3). New coach Elite B Man has these guys playing great football now control the AFC South.
    7. Pittsburgh Steelers (7-4). Willie Parker has been carrying the team in Big Ben’s absense
    9. Denver Broncos (7-4). Shut down the Giants offense last week but now trailing 2 teams in the AFC West.
    10. Indianapolis Colts (7-4). Lost a tough game last week. Faceoff with the Titans with first place on the line.

4 games left to play in Week 13

    1. Jets @ Bills
    2. Saints @ Skins
    3. Titans @ Colts
    4. Vikings @ Cardinals

Out of the these 4 games, only the Saints @ Skins have something up in the game scheduling thread.

All users from the other 3 games were at least been on the boards some part of the day yesterday or the day b4.

We are at the home stretch, lets finish strong.
