Congrats to all of those who have secured a playoff spot. The Panthers and the Jags have clinched wildcard spots. Good luck this week.

Any idea who gets in if we both win?

I think the scenario's go like this, if they've implemented the tie breakers.

If the Steelers win they get into the playoffs (based on best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference).
If the Steelers lose, and both the Colts and the Jets win then Colts get in.
If the Steelers lose, the Colts lose then the Jets get in (based on record)

Of course, if we all lose then it's a mess.

You have all the following playoff picture:

    x- Bills
    x- Bengals
    x - Titans
    x - Chargers
    y - Jaguars

    Possible 8-8 teams:
    Jets
    Dolphins
    Pittsburgh
    Baltimore
    Colts
    Texans

We do currently, but I play an AFC team, so a win would give me a higher percentage.

Next NFL tie breaker is: Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four.

If I am doing this right, I would have a better percentage (80% vs 40%) in common opponents.

Hope I get CPU skins round 1 haha.

Lions will be resting offensive starters Week 17 since they have the division locked up and no chance at a 1st round BYE

That's true, however the Colts won and if tie breakers are realistic I think they get the nod over you.

Why? What's the point? You are still going to have to beat someone good eventually. The "easy" win just nets you a worse draft pick and your starters can still get hurt vs a CPU team lol.

I would hope the Colts, Steelers or Jets would get the playoff nod. In the grand scheme of things it's only fair.
