Alright, Im back. Was supposed to be a day trip to Houston, but my sister-in-law (basically) is getting married so they took the entire weekend to find dresses. Went to a car/boat show... that was pretty cool though.

Anyway Im good to go and ready to finish out the last 4 of this 5 user-game stretch.

Wisconsin takes care of hated Alabama. Cam Kelly gets hurt twice in the 1st quarter but comes back...I sit his ass till 2nd half. Bring him in and run, run, run and he gets hurt again....nothing serious but his ass rode the bench for the rest of the game. Freshman HB James Butler did well earning playing of the game honors (123 yds and 3 tds). Bama's defense doesn't seem as godly as previous seasons. My online pushed them around pretty good.

Wisconsin 38 - Alabama 19 (their Kicker missed the first 2 Xtra points...lulz)

Pitt Rebounds, Defends Home Turf vs Sparty
    30-10

After a costly 1-game suspension, Coach Max returned to the sidelines and helped the Panthers bounce back after a tough loss @ UCLA. Pitt was clicking on offense and defense for the majority of the game and the stat sheet proves it. Michigan State won the coin toss and elected to kick off. Pitt would draw first blood on a 20yd TD strike to 6'5 WR Justin Fuqua. They'd also tack on a FG before MSU could respond giving the Panthers an early lead they'd never surrender. Michigan State would respond in style though, with a 79yd TD run where RB J. Brown would go untouched up the gut. After that, the Panthers would clamp down on the Spartans though, and only allow a FG the rest of the game. In fact, the Pitt Defense was swarming so bad they limited MSU to only 248yd of total offense. The story of the game though had to be the play of Senior QB Spence Sanders. Spence had a prolific day passing the ball. He'd complete 16/23 passes for 310yd and 3TDs to 0INT. Strickland and Dawson moved the chains and combined for 139yd on 26ATT (5.3 YPC average).

Next week Pitt hosts a Top-10 Rutgers squad in their Big East opener. The Panthers will need another mistake-free game if they want to pull out the W.

Spence operating out of the Pistol. Stand tall young man!

(RS)Freshman MLB James James Jameson with the pick in pass coverage.
