Beat up osu pretty bad. Wilkerson had 265 yrds rushing and 2 scores and my qb had 4 1st half td's only threw about 3 passes in the 2nd half. Scored late on a 99 yrd int return. Had alot of recruits at the game so hopefully I'll get some commitments.

I guess Helli's cry tears for Washington recruiting tears and sobs can officially end. That qb was #1 on my list and had me #1 as well and visited me this week along with UW, and yet passed us and signed elsewhere. So much for the crying and fussing, I cant / dont / wont hear it anymore puss.

No doubt!! QB Greg Baker the touch down maker was #1 on Cal's board. I was #3 going into week 4 with him visiting both UCLA and Washington. I thought maybe with him splitting time on the UW and UCLA campus would keep him from signing till we had a chance in week 5. Anyway Washington did what they had to. Baker has an "A" arm. Thats a lot of ARM for a Frosh. This kid will come in at or above 80 overall.

The UCLA starting Freshman QB has been up and down...too bad mostly down. We may have to go back to Sr. Brehault...who in reality should have been starting anyway...

Actually yes I do. The 2nd stringer (Fields) was playing Slot Receiver and has 4 rec and 1 TD. Tony Fox the true #1 QB got hurt vs Miami so now Fields will be taking over........I think. I have a senior QB who might take over and Fields might stay at slot receiver for now. His accuracy is only 82.

injuries are wrecking havoc on my offense.

My class won't come close to yours despite this good "get" of Baker.

You're recruiting another QB who is basically just as good. lol.

You have two 6'5 superfreak athletes on the way for the defensive backfield. Frankly I'd trade him for those guys anyday.

Still, Baker was the #1 QB based on my rankings. I think he or the guy you're gonna probably get are the two best, I think you're recruiting a B+ THP, B THA guy.

    Here's Baker.

    6'5" 197
    C SPD
    B ACC
    C+ AGI
    D- AWR
    A THP
    B- THA

It will be interesting to see how Baker pans out.

Sims has come in looking AMAZING. 85 tha, I wouldn't have thought so by the way he plays. He looks infinitely better than Shimko who had higher awareness and 87 tha. Now is it because Sims is right handed? I'm not sure. But I'm definitely happy with how he's looked.

Maybe Baker can come in like that too.

Truthfully, out of all of these guys, I wanted the Brett Favre Jr. guy. The A+ THP, C+ THA guy. I know accuracy is a huge deal so the guy rusty gets may be BETTER than Baker. But I wanted a cannon-armed QB and I think we got him in Baker, he will improve to the upper 90s' thp.

Who is the qb with A+ power? Just curious I never saw him.

Your right on those two 6'5 kids the FS looks like a lock. The other kid looks like a CB....crazy as that sounds a 6'5 cb with his kind of speed and such could really provide problems for the lobbers in the league finally and he has good hands to boot.

Your class isnt as bad as you want to make it sound either. I have seen a few of the "sucky" guys your going to nab incl this qb Baker...its coming along nicely in Washington.

I havent complained about this years class at all for UCLA, we are very pleased with it so far...the QB is a must have for us honestly and man could we use a speed back..which isnt going to happen this season.

It was last years that you all made such a huge deal out of that wasnt special at all...the players are really underwhelming us so far, in fact I could see a few of them bumped off the roster after this season if I have a chance to do my offseason cuts will be made...

Yeah I mean, I got one guy, but you still had a great roll of the dice to start with this year bud. Your class is going to be absolutely amazing IMO. But you gotta get this 5-star recruit that you're "settling" for at QB, I see that Ohio State is giving you a run but you probably weren't putting 60 min. into him each week.

Well, the recruiting gods gave us one guy. Thank our lucky stars that we had a game against a rival in the Pac-10, and you didn't. That is one negative for UCLA, they get all the guys listing them #1 but they only have one rival and that's USC.

At all the other positions I had backup plans, I know I won't get Beverly but I have a good solid backup plan FS soft committed etc. Also signed a SOPH JUCO FS this week that is pretty solid.

My rivals are cal nd and the oh so scary San Jose state Spartans... Obviously that doesn't help with recruiting and I have nd at the end after all the major players are signed. Oh well. It looks like I am getting close to signing about 11-12 guys pretty soon anyways...

I'm hoping that the two loose ends, Ryno and Blaza can play their games relatively early in order to give everybody a shot at playing games tomorrow night.

I just played my game. USC was really tough. We opened up a can right at the end, but even in the late 3rd QTR I really wasn't sure we were gonna hang on.

I got housed by Ohio St and the cpu in general. Everything was going well til about 3 mins before half. Tied 14-14. Then the cpu decided everything I did would be a turnover. From that point on, 4 interceptions, 2 fumbles, 2 defensive TDs for Ohio St. Game over
