Had a tough game against Ohio State. Boy, are they tough. Luckily they made a couple ill-advised plays, I knew looking at the rosters we weren't going to win unless we took care of the ball. Turns out we muffed a fumble for their TD but other than that did well.

We had a nice lead and were thinking blowout but then they started taking advantage of their mismatches against our D and made a great comeback attempt. Luckily we kept our heads about us and made them use all their timeouts before it got too close. When they got to within 8 they were out of timeouts and a couple first downs did them in.

Doesn't matter how many points ahead you are, you need to get their bar filled up. They'll then soft commit, and then they'll commit. But if you're doing 10 min. week and you're up 800 points, doesn't matter. I've been up 1000 pts and didn't get a sign until the bar got full lol.

The bar filled up.....that's BS too (I mean I agree he wont sign if it aint filled but). I have had the bar full for like 8 weeks on that HB a few years ago and it took till week 2 of off season to sign. Makes NO SENSE!

While I do like the recruiting I do think there is too much left in the dark and too much luck. I love it when the random ptich generator gives me the same pitch (least) in a row or all lows and very lows. Then the next call it is all highs and very highs..........all completely random. It makes it fair I guess.

    Va Tech 31
    Cincinnati 34

This game had an epic finish. I have recently had major trouble putting the CPU away and it looked like this game was going to be the same old story. I was up 27-24 midway through the 4th, having led the whole game. Va Tech manages to score on a couple big pass plays against my shit secondary to go up 27-31 with 1:45 left. No problem right? Well with about 40 seconds to go I'm on the Va Tech 5 yardline, 3rd and goal and I throw an INT. Luckily I had all 3 TOs left and got a quick 3 and out to get the ball back on my own 40 yard line with 10 seconds to go. First play I hit WR Dyjuan Lewis who beat press coverage on the sideline for a 35 yard gain but he gets tackled immediately. I hurry up to the line and snap the ball with 3 seconds left and hit Lewis again after he beat the press coverage for a second time. Lewis skyed for it on the 3 yard line came down and took one step into the endzone as time expired to give the Bearcats a much needed win.

    Key Stats:
    QB Munchie Legaux 20/39 457 yards 3TDs 2INTs
WR Kendrick Parrish 5 catches 157 yards 1TD
WR Damien Jenkins 6 catches 155 yards 1TD
WR Dyjuan Lewis 4 catches 87 yards 1TD
CB Deven Drane 6 tackles 2INTs
